Fabulous friendly trip. Excellent views. We saw humpback whales, seals and a bald Eagle. Highly recommended.

This tour was absolutely incredible! We had Captain Rich and Grace as our guide. We saw a humpback whale breach as well as two pods of orcas that were checking each other out. One of the pods had a baby orca which was actually the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. We also saw sea lions and seals, and a couple of flying fish! Our group did a ton of research prior to choosing Seabreeze — Sustainability and whale-friendliness with no impact was our priority. We are so glad we went with this company. They hold the utmost respect for marine life and abide by all the Canadian laws surrounding boating and whale interactions. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about marine life and offered great avenues for people to continue to support. It’s important to know that if you want to see whales, you need to go with a reputable tour operator (not a large aquarium, or an operator that does not follow rules and regulations). Do your research, ask questions, and have fun!

The most incredible experience whale watching with Raphael and Noah last weekend! Saw a pod of orcas face off with a group of humpback whales right up close to the boat. Was a true bucket list moment! Couldn’t recommend Raphael and Noah more if you want a fascinating and fun experience whale watching!

Amazing trip, crystal blue skies. Great views of mount Baker and Howe sound. Really picturesque sailing around the islands, saw a few glaciers also. Wildlife in all directions, we saw multiple pods of orcas (lots of tail slapping), a few humpbacks, sea lions and lots of birds. The naturalist (Celina) on board was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all marine wildlife and gave everyone on board some great facts. The captain Rafael was great, speedy and smooth on the zodiac boat.

Brilliant whale watching

Brilliant whale watching with Selena and Raphael. We took a scenic route through the islands before finding two humpback whales and staying with them for a while. We then headed back to Stevenson, but then to our surprise started seeing Vancouver. Selena then announced that she was hoping to find a couple of orcas here, and we found two huge males, and then another pod of 4 orcas as well. We were on the boat for over 5 hours and it was so kind of Selena and Raphael to go above and beyond to give us this additional experience. The orca fins in the sunsetty ocean were a memory I won't forget. We later saw that all the other Stevenson boats had returned to dock after the humpback whales so hadn't seen the orcas, so we were thrilled to have been in the right boat with the right hosts!!
We were in the zodiac and loved it. Great that there were only six of us so we had tonnes of room to move around!

This was a truly fantastic experience - we were lucky enough to see a family of orcas which was such a treat! Our onboard naturalist Camryn was lovely and extremely knowledgeable, even able to identify the specific orcas we saw and share their names and behaviour patterns. The boat was comfortable, with high seats and footrests, a toilet, and plenty of space to move around. We will always remember this incredible trip - thank you!

We were delighted by the willingness and enthusiasm of the guide and the boat captain. We saw whales, but even if we didn't, it was a great experience.

This trip had been three years in the making, however for the staff who work here nothing is to much trouble. I have to say a big thank you to Shauna who constantly reassured my husband with any queries he had. Which was quite often.

Our initial booking for Monday 5th June was cancelled due to the weather out a sea, so booked for the following day, however, this too was cancelled. So aimed for the Thursday and yippee it most certainly went ahead. One thing for sure you are kept updated.

Mother nature is something we are unable to control, yet the passion these people have in their jobs is beyond belief. We must have spent a good three hours in search of Orcas, yet with assistance from other vessels in different areas we finally achieved this. Without encroaching on the Orcas space, obviously you cannot control what the Orcas get up to as one vessel discovered.

Would I do this again, most definitely and in a heartbeat. For this is where these majestically creatures belong.

Overall it was a good trip. We got to see lots of wildlife.
Timings were as advised and staff were pleasant and helpful.
We traveled on the number 3 boat which to be fair was very noisy. When the boat slowed, you were subjected to large amounts of diesel fumes. The engine noise drowned out the host’s voice making listening very difficult. Would have been helpful to have either a PA system or headset. This said, trip was fantastic with all the sights we enjoyed
