This museum was pretty small but there were some interesting things mostly in cases. They don't have a lot of space. There is a gift counter which has items almost entirely devoted to the ABC TV show "Once Upon a Time" which uses the streets of the town and some of the buildings for the show. I'm a fan so... More

I dropped in to ask about the town, etc. Whilst asking about the museum the lady turned and locked the door so I could not enter into it. Guess hospitality has a time and place.

The post office is not open past 5 on weekdays. so I am unable to pick up packages until the weekend, which is a huge annoyance. There are two nearby postal outlets at Seafair Mall and at Super Grocer (only a few hundred yards away) which are both open later on the weekdays and the staff at these other locations... More

You MUST visit this museum if you love history. Small but sweet. This museum looks like a tiny shop outside but has two good sized exhibitions inside! It is free which is fab( coming from London where all museums are free to Canada where I rarely found anything for free!) and it is WELL worth your time. Takes about 30min... More

This little museum is located at the back of the Post Office/Visitors centre. We went into the visitors centre to look at the Once upon a time merchandise and to find out when filming was taking place in Steveston, so to stumble across this museum was quite a surprise. If you're interested in history, in particular that of Steveston you'll... More

The staff at the museum/tourism centre are very friendly and helpful. The museum has displays that tell about the history of Steveston. There is a gift shop where you can find merchandise from the hit TV show Once Upon A Time, which is filmed on location in Steveston.

Stepped into this FREE museum while searching for the Tourist Info Center. The first building has the Visitor Info and a couple of rooms. One room contained furnishings and such from the buildings time as Steveston's first bank. The other room has consumer goods from the 1900. Apparently there is an upstairs area to view, but we missed it. Be... More

Our family visited the Steveston Museum during a recent trip to the area. It is small, but certainly worth a visit. They had information about the history of the community that we enjoyed. They also were very helpful in telling us about the filming of the television program "Once Upon A Time", which we had come to view. They had... More
