Friends were visiting from out of town so we attended the Mayfair Lakes Golf Club to watch them tee off with local friends. While waiting for them to return to the 19th hole we enjoyed brunch at the Lakeside Grill. We opted for finger food to share consisting of eagle wings, calamari, yam fries, onion rings, steamed clams and nachos.

I've always enjoyed golfing here although it can be a little challenging with water on 14 holes. In the summer grass tees on the driving range and a large green for putting and chipping. Good food and drinks

We attended a wedding reception during the weekend. We understand it is one of the hottest day of the summer, but the air conditioning was not functioning at all. It was torching hot inside the dining room. The restaurant blamed it on the door being opened but with the buffet food being served outside, how can the door be closed. The staffs had not taken any action to correct the situation. There was no fans in sight. The doors were closed afterward but the temperature got even higher so what they blamed on about the door is a complete lie. We also talked to some friends who had attended receptions at Mayfair and have the same experience when it is held in the summer. Please make sure anybody who wants to have reception at Mayfair to do it in the winter, well at that time maybe the heat will not be working. It is the worst dining experience.

I played this course today and found the layout flat but interesting with numerous water hazards and bunkers making for a decent challenge. The course condition was quite good with well kept fairways and greens. Unfortunately the attitude of the staff rather spoiled the experience. In the restaurant the server clearly overworked was slow and grumpy although the food when it arrived was reasonable. The shop staff were appalling though failing to allow us to use the showers claiming them as for members only. The public facilities were dirty and primitive with one toilet and one basin. We played on a hot sunny day and then went to the airport to fly to the UK, and had to wash in one dirty hand basin. I have enjoyed my time in Canada and found almost everyone courteous and helpful. Mayfair Lakes are inhospitable and uncaring and have left me with a sour taste. I would avoid this course at all costs.

Our behalf of the team here at Mayfair Lakes we apologize Mr. Paul T. for not making your entire experience great. I am glad you enjoyed the golf course and the food in our Lakeside Grill restaurant. We do have various rest room facilities throughout our club house and I am sorry if they were not pointed out to you. Mayfair Lakes is a semi-private golf course, also open to the public, with members that pay an initiation fee to join as well as monthly dues thus they have access to a "members only" locker room area which have showers. As part of our long term plan we are looking at renovating our public rest room areas.

We went to golf on Canada Day, only to discover that we had won the random draw to win the Featured Foursome! They took such great care of us right from the get go in the pro-shop, arranging our rounds, carts, swag bags, gc's for food, etc. Our service at dinner as great too. An amazing day all around. The course itself was in great shape as well...my game, not so much :)

The course is great it’s maintained well and staff are friendly. The reason I’m not giving it 5 starts is the tee boxes are completely confusing. The reds are at the back the blues closer to the front. It made I don’t know why they would stray from the standard red, white, blue, black. Your just confusing your golfers change them back.

Thank you very much Julian for your feedback. We truly appreciate you coming and playing our golf course. The tee box "tee marker colours" were changed a year ago after attending a USGA Symposium.
The reason we changed the colour is two fold. First, we wanted to go away from "gender specific tee blocks", being the red tees are for the ladies, and shift the reality of having golfers chose the tee box based on their golfing ability.
Secondly, we realized through other courses that took on this "new concept" before us, that the Pace of Play per round improved. In a perfect world all the tee box markers should be the same colour. The great game of golf should be enjoyed in four hours or less and with the fewest strokes taken. Our goal is to educate and encourage golfers as fulfillment to making this happen.
We hope to see you back at Mayfair Lakes soon

Of life.
I won't go into detail about the food served for my brothers Celebration.,
It was wonderful !
After my family left
My best Friend and I decided that we would go and have a Drink or two and some appies
Before heading home and toast to my Brother!
It was not busy at that time and they did close early, I want to say 5 ish
It's just the time of year .. Otherwise they close at 9 or 10 pm. In the summer time ..
food was really good and if I remember correctly the wine wasn't too bad either!
As far as prices go you can google the golf course and check out the prices ..
enjoy!

We got married at Mayfair Lakes Golf Course on July 16, 2016 and could not have asked for a better day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a special and meaningful day. The menu selection offers many choices and everything we chose was delicious. The outdoor ceremony site is beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. We would recommend this venue to anybody as a terrific place to celebrate their special day.
