The park has sewage lagoons which may make the air a little ripe although not always. Has some interesting walks along the beach or near the river. Lot's of birds. With a lake, river and ocean all within a easy stroll. You can also watch airplanes come and go or watch boats going past or working on the Fraser.

This is a gorgeous place to visit if you are looking to find a peaceful spot. Not very well known and a little hard to find. But well worth the effort. Love the water, the breeze and the quiet.

This beach is near the airport so excellent for plane watching. I'd suggest going to the right along the beach and not along the causeway directly out into the ocean. You can walk along the beach for quite aways (maybe 3 km) before you have to turn back. You can return along the 'foot path' inland if the sandy beach... More

While I was taking a long walk on the pier somebody broke into my car via driver's window and fished out my laptop. I didn't even notice it at first because there were no traces left and car looked ok.

I had been hoping to get to this place for years. I finally got the chance today. I heard there were over 200 species of birds; however I only saw gulls, herons, cormorants and killdeer. I also wanted to try to find the many geocaches along the lower trail. I did get two. Most were very tricky. I think it... More

Great views large expanse away from the crowds there are washrooms and shower to wash off the sand but thats it. You can stop and watch the planes land. A great place to take your family for a picnic
