Come here quite often, just to mellow out. This time, was meeting friends for lunch, so came a bit early so as to be able to sit on a bench and look out across the ocean to the Gulf Islands. Very peaceful.

Beautiful views, great for walking, biking, picnic, flying kites, or simply having a seat to enjoy the water. There is a memorial for all the fishermen who have lost their lives. If you happen to be hungry or thirsty, there is fish and chips, burgers,...More

...not the fault of the park, but no green was in sight anymore. all dried up and dusty... The park bristled with Sunday afternoon life anyways - seems like a BBQ gathering point for large families. Sad to see so much plastic trash left behind.

Whether it’s the unique opportunity to view the Mighty Fraser River merging with the Salish Sea , the Gulf Of Georgia museum with interesting exhibits of the fishing industry, or the diversity of local restaurants....... or all three......Steveston is well worth an explore!

Watch the sunset, walk along the entire stretch with friends, very lively place. We take our meats and often barbecue there for dinner. Love it!!!

It's a great place for a short walk and a sit by the ocean. You can get Pajo's Fish and chips, and there's also a frozen yogurt/ice cream place. It's usually not too crowded. The only downside is when there are several groups doing picnics...More

Garry Point juts out into the straight, giving visitors a 360 sunset view! At the mouth of the Fraser River, its a perfect place to settle onto a park bench and watch the spectacular sunsets, or walk around the point, about 15-20 minutes, and enjoy...More

A great place to hang out with family at the beach; go for a nice bike ride or walk along the water, & have something to eat.

There really isn't much left to do at Garry Point. I recall that not so many years ago Garry Point was a haven for those who enjoyed flying kites. For a few years the "tall ships" used to visit on an annual basis but they...More

Propane cookers/bbqs are allowed. Get there early and claim your spot; it is a very popular place. Cheers
