I always enjoy the ride. Last week the trees were covered with fresh snow. It was like riding through a Christmas card. The lake below is one source for drinking water for Vancouver. Some of the best water in the world. (Makes the rain easier to take). And looking out you can see Mount Baker, Metro Vancouver and mountains to... More

Although our visit happened during a very windy, rainy winter night, the sky ride employees made us feel very comfortable and safe.

Love the view you get from the sky ride up to the lodge and can get very crowded during ski season and sometimes during the summer abit full, so try and get there early. If possible take the transit as Parking fills up and can be expensive too. A great place to go and see beautiful views you can only... More

If you get a chance, you MUST do this, and please take a real camera. It can be cold at the top so wear winter clothes, but i will be worth it, especially if you are up there at sunset.

If you're sightseeing in Vancouver in Winter with children plan an afternoon/evening trip to Grouse Mountain preferably when there's good visibility. It is magical even if you're not skiing but bring suitable waterproof footwear with a good grip. The cable car Skyride takes you to another world. Catch the sunset on the viewing deck with stunning views over Vancouver and... More

What a view, we went to Whistler on the same trip and I must say, due to the snow fall during and before Christmas the trees were a deligt to watch, even the drive to Grouse Mountain was fantastic.

We went on Christmas Eve and waited over an hour in line at which point they took a group of us and shuttled us over to the Blue tram which they use to take down the garbage. They had the garbage piled up at the side. Seriously, I paid close to $200 for five of us to be transported on... More

Take in the stunning views from this ride high above the tree tops. Only a short ride so have the camera at the ready.
