The best part about Grouse was the views. I suggest going early morning before it gets too crowded. I loved the Grizzly Bears, both chair lifts, as well walking around the paths. There are many activities for kids, but since we did not have any in our party just a few hours at Grouse was plenty. A few more activities... More

We're glad to hear you enjoyed your visit but are disappointed to hear you didn't experience our adult-friendly activities. Our Birds in Motion Demonstration, World Famous Lumberjack Show, Guided Eco-Walks and Eye of the Wind tours are a few examples of activities we think you would have enjoyed! More

I expected this to be something similar to the Gondola rides at Lake Tahoe (California). However this is no where near that well organized. The ride up is in a ropeway that gets filled with 50 or so people at a time. Tough to get views given the number of people. On the mountain itself there aren't constructed view points... More

Thanks for taking the time to provide a review! If you were looking for good viewpoints, we'd recommend any of the decks in the Peak Chalet as well as the top of the Peak Chairlift. Hope you consider visiting again one day! More

We went on a very cloudy and foggy day, so we didn't experience the breathtaking views that are seen in the photos advertising this attraction. Still, I really enjoyed the experience! Going up into the clouds and walking through the fog filled mountain was really cool and eerie. We took a ride on the ski lift and it was quite... More

Free Shuttle which leaves from Downtown and takes you to the mountain. Our driver was so informative - the commentary about Vancouver their and back was truly fascinating and fun! It drops you at the base where you can either take the Gondola or begin your hike! The hike is tough but so worth it if you can manage -... More

Not having done much in the way of hiking before the Grouse Mountain Grind is not for the weak hearted although people of every age climb. It pays to have some level of fitness to climb this trek but there are many places to stop along the way and catch your breath. Take a big bottle of water in a... More

Grouse Mountain is breathtaking! The highlight is the Lumberjack Show! Very well done! You can see the grizzly bears up close. Skip the Raptor Show. The birds just fly off.

Grouse: An Aussie word used to describe something awesome! Grouse Mountain has spectacular views. I caught the sky ride up and down and was spewing I didn't take my camera. (iPhone doesn't do justice for anything this large & beautiful). I wandered off and saw a black bear. It was curled up and looked like a rock, but it moved... More

We went on a tour of this area which included Grouse Mountain. The first part of the ride up was spectacular with great views. Unfortunately half way up we hit cloud and the views disappeared. Even at the top you could only see about 50 yards. However, we walked around and saw some of the lumberjack show in the mist... More

If only for the sky ride and the views this is worth every penny. It is a typical ski resort with typical ski resort food. Don't expect much! The ski lift to the top again worth the trip for the views alone. There are resident wild Grisly Bears and lots of large birds to see too.
