We live in Vancouver and have wanted to go kayaking for quite some time! We finally got around to it and booked the 3 hour explorer tour from 1pm-4pm. The first thing we discovered - even on a rainy day, parking in Deep Cove is awful!! Allow lots of extra time (at least 15-20 minutes) to park and walk down... More

We did the 3 hour tour in a group of 14 people and we had a blast. Our guides (Spencer and Oliver) were super friendly and chilled. We got to see seals, jelly fish and a heron. We all ended up in double kayaks even though we wanted singles, but it turned out to be a lot of fun in... More

The goods: 1) Beautiful tour that takes you out a bit further out. Lots of beautiful sceneries that you would not be able to see without some sort of boat access. 2) Delicous and hearty lunch provided as part of tour 3) Tour guide I had was great. Shout out to Trent! The "please consider": 1) It is a longer... More

Hi Buisisters - thanks so much for your review of the Island Explorer Tour. It can indeed be a hard day with 5 hours paddling, but the stunning scenery is worth it, we're sure you'd agree! We'll pass on your comments to Trent who, we agree, is great. Thanks again - hope to see you out again soon. More

The rain scared a few people away on the day of the tour; however, it was a great experience for me since it gave me a chance to test my paddling skills in different weather conditions and I enjoyed the challenge! I took the tour because I'm new to kayaking and it was a great way for me to get... More

It was hot sunny day. People were kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming and just enjoying nice summer day. I decided to go paddleboarding. Line for paddleboard & kayaking rental was long and there were no paddleboards available for the day. What to do? Ok. I will go kayaking. Do you have any experience on kayaking? I was asked. Yes, I have... More

As a first experience in Kayaking, Deep Cove was first rate. My husband (63) was very apprehensive as he can't swim. However, as we are getting older, it's now or never. So we took the plunge (not exactly), but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 3 hours was the right amount of time, any more may have been too much for... More

Positive experience every time. Super staff. Good equipment. Beautiful location to paddle. Don't miss out on an accessible and fun activity with friends and families or on your own. Thursday's Women on Water (WOW!) in the evening are lots of fun too. Go on a moonlit paddle. Just get out to the cove and paddle!

Efficient and easy booking system with fast and friendly reply from Chelsea to my directions request. I booked a 3 hour explorer tour and had a guide, Matt, who was informative and knowledgeable.
