on a sunny day this is the nicest hike as you are always in the sun. Great views. A bit busy on the trails so get up early and go!

We went here for a hike, it was cool, there were a lot of nice tranquil spots, especially the small lakes. There weren't many amenities though and there were confusing signs about what areas were closed and not.

Fabulous hiking here, short or long walks and no crowds. I like the 4 or 5 k walk to dog mountain. Also great for snowshoeing (free) in winter. Plenty of parking and pet friendly

Mt Seymour has huge provincial parks that are fun to hike in the summer and incredible to snow shoe in the winter! Also a great beginners ski mountain as the runs are not too challenging and it's quieter than Cypress and Grouse so you can learn without being bugged by thousands of snowboarders!!

The lifts at this mountain badly need an update, as there are huge lines just to get on the lifts. There are free snowshoe trails, with glorious views.

Went on a hike to dog mountain with a friend and my dog. Great hike, not too hard, beautiful forest and ponds, still a bit of snow even on a hot day. Pack lunch to eat at the viewpoint at dog mountain. It takes about an hour to get to the viewpoint.
