Great Village for coffee, food, shopping with parks, picnic areas, hiking and water sports. We took Seabus & rented bikes from Coastal Cogs E-bikes at Lonsdale Quay & rode to Deep Cove along Dollarton Highway a popular waterfront bike route. We'll do it again when Quarry Rock hike reopens (closed re COVID19)

busy place, get there early nice to sit on the grass or go for a walk along the water or pier but have to get there early due to over crowding and lack of parking sad to see they had road construction during our heat wave spent 20 mins on the road until flag person waved us through, not nice. bad timing, but it is a gem if you get there early and have some time to sit and enjoy the view.

One of the most beautiful places we've been to on this earth. Just amazing views all around. There are some nice shops and restaurants in the area and parking is free. We will be returning to spend a week in the area soon.

This area is called the Village of Deep Cove and if we had more time we would have stayed longer. You can enjoy the park, the beach, little restaurants and shops and all with free parking at the top of the hill

You might want to swerve this right now as some parking has been removed due to Covid changes to widen sidewalks . So unless you’re prepared to come early or search an hour for parking, the appeal has lessened . Now those who come are picknickers who stay all day; set up day tents which is great but no parking turnover. So still no parking unless you take a bus which runs regularly and works just fine .

Popular scenic spots need to be booked. But the scenery is beautiful. It's really a good trip, and I'm going to go again next time.

Great place to have a picnic, kayaking, paddle boarding or hike. I went with a few friends for a birthday picnic party. We had a great time

we rented a boat for the day from the Deep Cove North Vancouver Marina. It was a beautiful day and the boat was clean and well stoked with life jackets. The young girl working there was very helpful and friendly. However the older gentlemen who we initially spoke to on the phone when we first reserved the boat and whom we later met when we completed the paperwork on the day of the rental, was rather gruff and without personable skills. Overall, if you can overlook this man's lack of costumer service and general ability to deal with the general public, it was a good time. Good thing we didn't have to spend too much time speaking/dealing with the older gentlemen who runs/manages? the place. Good activity for a socially distanced experience in time of Covid.

Deep cove is smaller than we imagined with really only one street. We visited in February so it was rainy and fairly grey. The doughnut shop on the high street is amazing and I thoroughly recommend any of the chocolate, maple syrup or honey doughnuts. We had a little walk round the harbour which in the summer/spring I’m sure would be lovely to rent a kayak from the waterfront and go out but it was closed and too cold. We hiked up a trail instead which was about 45 minutes to the top and brought you out to a cool viewing rock which was a bit grey but again would be amazing on a clear day. The walk through the forest was cool with lots of trees and waterfalls and you didn’t get as wet as walking down the street.

There is also a deep cove brewery a short drive away which does a good flight of beer!
