So much to do here! Deep Cove is THE popular place in North Vancouver, especially in the summer. I go here to kayak and oftentimes I see jellyfish and seals. There's also Quarry Rock, where people go to take pictures than hike, but it's a good hike that takes about 1 hour and another hour to come back. Make sure... More

This is a beautiful cove to visit for coffee, shops, park, canoe-kayak-baord rentals. Local forest hike to a fantastic high view point. However, parking can be very challenging on weekends. If you dont arrive early you will likely park several blocks away. There is public transit to this area. Good for all ages. Good for a short visit or longer.

Deep Cove has something for everyone. Stroll in the village and enjoy a bite to eat or do some shopping. Honey doughnuts is a popular spot for coffee and their famous honey doughnut. There is a playground for kids and a beach area. Kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding is also available. The quarry rock hike is a big favourite of locals and... More

Deep cove is one of those hidden magical gems that makes you gasp when you drive around the corner and see this wonderful panameric view of heaven on earth! It is the end of the road so you have to want to visit there not just padding through. Super coffee shops and little restaurants are both dudes ifvghe shirt street... More

Deep Cove is just an hour drive or so from Vancouver downtown and it's amazing! Try to visit this place during fall where there's less crowd. You can can enjoy some local restaurants there with warm beverages. Or just go for a small trail walking into the woods. If you like more active activities, visit Deep Cove during summer and... I had an amazing time this summer ocean kayaking in deep cove. It was one of the highlights of my trip! I would suggest renting for at least 2 hours and call at least the day before to book a time to go, it gets really busy! We called the day before and they only had kayaks available and no... More

I have been to Deep Cove 5 times. My daughter and her family live there and it is a wonderful place to visit and live. I find the people very friendly, the shops unique, the food great, it has a terrific marina. The cove is a great place for water sports. Paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, swimming or pleasure boating if... More

This is a small town. For first time Vancouver visitors, I don't think it's a must - see. But if you are returning visitors, and have a relaxing half of a day, this is a a good option if you want to get out of downtown Vancouver. It's 30-40 minutes drive from downtown Vancouver. It's a bay with scenic view... More
