We came for a late walk about in the evening as we couldn't make it to any of the larger, paid for light displays. The entrance to the park was mostly advertising for local businesses which really overshadowed the lights, however if you go in...More

This is a perfect 10 minute stroll while you are waiting for the movies or after a restaurant visit at Park and Tilford. Nice for both young and old. Glittering lights decorated in the garden and Christmas feeling. So Van Dusen gardens is so much...More

A favourite stroll for three generations. Seasonal plantings are kept pristine. Winter activities make it a year round destination.

I've lived on the North Shore for decades and this is the first time here. What a peasant little interlude. My wife is a professional but relaxes doing gardening. She thoroughly enjoyed it, remarking on all the unique vegetation.

This is really at its best during the Christmas season when it's all lit up with lights and seasonal flora and fauna. Right beside JJ Bean so you can perambulate with your choice of caffeine delivery system.

Bizarre location, not very wild. Sort of a has been place. Worth a stop if you are passing through on a long trip but only for a quick stroll. I was disappointed the first time I went and been hoping for much more.

The gardens use to be well maintained and lovely to walk through. In the past year or more it is a pretty poor showing. Not well maintained and not many interesting or colourful flowers. Not worth the time to go there.

We usually walk through here during Christmas to look at the lights. The garden itself isn't very big so it's perfect for families with little kids who don't like walking.
