A must do, see, listen and experience...
Oct. 2020
Immense park criss-crossed with hiking trails, soccer fields, tennis courts, the Don River and my favourite, – the Forest Therapy Trail, an apt name for the calming experience of communing with nature, here. Trail starts at Church Lane, loops around Henderson while traversing the Don a couple of times. Wildlife has been spotted. In the early morning a cacophony of birds great you and squirrels abound. Fall is when you see the colourful flowers and leaves to add to the experience. A must do, see, listen and experience...

Walking our dog
Aug. 2017 • Couples
My husband and I love walking our dog at the Pomona Mills. It has a large parking area. Lots of people from the neighborhood just walk there, as we do too. Its a nice hike through the park. It is well maintained. Lots of open space for you to play fetch with your dog. The hike is quite nice too as there are some streams of water that surround the park.
In the spring , there are lots of beautiful wild flowers on the path, and lots of beautiful birds too can be seen flying from tree to tree. If you get tired, thank goodness for the benches. In the fall, it's so so beautiful with the fall leaves that just brighten the whole park. It is very peaceful to take a walk,or hike there.
Very safe and friendly area. Most people do say hello as you walk pass each other.
Its one of my favorite parks to go to.

Nice trails to walk and reach the to the Thornhill village.
There are lots of nice houses on the other side of the park which are very old more than a 100 year old.

Great space to walk
Apr. 2017 • Couples
Pomona Mills Park covers 47 acres in Thornhill situated north of John St. on either side of Henderson. With a nice walking path on both sides of the Don River. On the east side, a couple of soccer fields, kids play area and the Pomona Mills Tennis Club. There is a parking lot at the east end of the park with access off of John Street.

Nice walk in the neighbourhood
Dec. 2016 • Friends
Lovely place to walk your dogs, meet your neighbours and just enjoy nature.
Can see salmon swimming in the Don River, hear a wood pecker and sometimes see beavers building a dam.

Small quiet park
May 2016 • Solo
This park is amazing it is quiet and peaceful for people who enjoy getting away from civilization but don't want to go very far away. The park has amazingly well kept trails. It is great for kids because there is this really cool tunnel that goes underneath a road to a different part of the park which connects to a tennis court.

Beauty in Thornhill
Aug. 2015 • Friends
Pomona Mills Park, running between Bayview Avenue and Yonge Street, offers visitors a wonderful area for exercise and communing with nature. The park runs along the East Don river. It is one of the most beautiful parks, running about 2km end to the end. It is at the centre of Old Thornhill Village and adjacent to the historic Thornhill cemetery founded in early 1800s.
I would like to thank Pomona Mills Park Conservationists collecting bags of litter along the banks of the East Don River to preserve this beauty.
