Unfortunately the museum is currently closed due to the pandemic. However, it is still a beautiful place for pictures and a stroll.

Nestled in the heart of the always beautiful Lamoureux Park - Take a stroll through the park and stop by this fantastic community museum featuring some great exhibits. See how locals of the past lived.
VERY knowledgeable curator who showed us around. A true passion him, as he travels far and wide, from church basements to old home's attics to bring you some fantastic artifacts.

I was delighted to revisit this wonderful part of Cornwalls history. It is amazing how it has constantly updated its collection of the history of Cornwall. THey need our support and need more space so they can display their growing collection of the rich history of this region and it needs to be supported financially so it can continue to grow.

Thank you for taking the time to post a favourable review. Since your visit, many enhancements have been realized. Two new exhibit rooms have been opened and overall utilization of space has been optimized. We now have every major area of community life represented simultaneously. Never having been to Cornwall we visited the Cornwall Community Museum towards the end of a beautiful day and were fortunate to be given an in depth tour by the Associate Curator. His encyclopedic and very personal knowledge of the history and of the people and places of Cornwall gave us an exceptionally broad yet intimate feeling for the community and its history. We enjoyed his detailed descriptions of the museum artifacts and the many unwritten stories behind them. Thank you very much for your efforts in preserving and making presenting the history of Cornwall. We were just visitors but we now have a real connection to the community.

My wife and I had planned to visit the museum because of my family connection. We were surprised at how big the interior. There is a wide variety of exhibits covering not just the early days aspects of Cornwall's history but though the 20th century as well. The curator Don Smith was both knowledgeable and patent. A return visit is definitely in order.

My Grade 4&5 class, as well as a Grade 6 class from our school, went to the Cornwall Community Museum for a tour in June. The staff was most accommodating and catered their tour to the age of the students involved. The number of questions and comments from my students was amazing. They loved all of the artifacts and the staff were terrific at fielding all of their queries and giving them detailed answers. The exhibits in this museum are well presented. I would recommend a tour of this museum to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and customer support by Olivia and Chelsea this month. The exhibits are well presented and appear to be continually updated with more items and information. The staff was friendly, enthusiastic, professional and informative and most enjoyably impressive in their helpfulness. They also offered insight into other areas of Cornwall including historic sites as well as restaurants and interesting places to visit. Overall a top notch visit!

Hello, Leo. We are pleased to know that you and Claudette had a great visit. I see from your other (also positive) reviews that you also enjoyed the Park that surrounds us and a local eatery. Our summer student, Olivia, is a delight; I shared your review with her and also passed it along to Chelsea's supervisor at the Visitor Centre, which shares space inside our Museum. Thank you for visiting Cornwall and please tell your friends that we look forward to their visits as well!

Just happened to visit several years ago and it was so interesting. We were the only ones in the museum and learned so much from them.
