Thank you for taking time to comment, Matt. The Museum and Archives attracts people with diverse interests (and attention spans). Many who drop in simply wish to "look around." Our staff try to gauge the situation and react accordingly. Every once in awhile we may...More

It is so interesting to tour the house and to tour the underground part of the museum. The staff are very knowledgeable. Super charming! The park where it is located is so lovely!

On the main strip in Cornwall ON, parking on site, this quaint museum offers great information on Cornwall's past. Guided, informative tours, if required. Not open every day of the week.

Historic house with artifacts dating back to last century. Curator did a very good job of acquiring great pieces. You could spend a good 45 min and secret tunnel is cool with the kids

Ours is the Community's Museum; family and other treasures donated are appreciated.

We enjoyed walking through this museum and seeing the articles which local people have donated. Our young guide provided an overview of the history of the region and clearly feels that it is important to preserve history and traditions of one's area.

If your guide was "young" I gather that you were greeted by one of our summer students. Come again some time.

Just a house with some old stuff the have gathered together from around town. There's a portrait of a old mystery woman that was donated to the museum that nobody even knows who she is. The good thing is it doesn't cost much to visit.
