Knowledgable staff, great for history buffs. Right at end of Main next to lawn bowling green. Lots of static displays, nice to see so many artifacts.

Well worth a tour as lots of free parking and admission by donation. The present building is housed in an old curling rink but is very well displayed with lots of historic old farming machinery for processing fruits and wines. Every aspect of the history of Osyoos is very well presented and well worth a visit

We were greeted at the door by a lovely elderly woman that made us feel welcome right away! She was happy to answer questions, point out different things and have a little chat. This was such a nice little museum and I recommend a visit! Was enjoyed by our entire family...teens, adults, and seniors!

Give yourself plenty of time. There is so much to see & learn. They generously stayed open so we could stay longer. Detailed exhibits about the history & development of the town, but not so much about the Native history.

Very friendly and informative volunteers! The items in the "lobby" of the museum are well displayed, with interesting and informative descriptions. In the "rink" area of the museum, which is not heated, lots of displays as well, showing early life in the area. One of the most interesting items we saw was the machine that made wooden fruit boxes for the orchards! I see there are plans to relocate the museum to a new place, which will be very good for tourists year round!

Being a resident of Osoyoos it was nice to learn about the history of our town. Learnings some of its history and the people that had a huge influence on the establishment and development of the town provided some context of how Osoyoos has evolved to its present form. The larger area attached to the museum building houses some interesting items but can be cool in the winter as it is not heated. I am looking forward to the planned new museum as it will be a huge change in how information is presented and much more modern. Well worth the time if you are interested in the history of Osoyoos.

We were quite disappointed when we went to tour the museum, and found that they charge per pertson was $5.00. We had a lovely talk with the very elderly volunteer, but did not go in. But, right next door is a lawn bowling facility, it was fun watching this event.

This is a small town's history, but what a history! Very nicely displayed in a rather odd building. There is going to be a new site for the museum in the next year or so, and that will be so nice for all these things to be properly housed. Worth a look that's for sure.

I spent over an hour at this museum and the information on the town and area was excellent. There were many pictures of the area when the first settlers came. The museum is moving to a new building and location in 2016 which will make it more appealing. Great museum Osoyoos.

What a sorry bunch of crap housed in that shabby building. What do wartime uniforms and resources have to do with Osoyoos?! Does Osoyoos really need a museum? It's a pass. Don't bother.
