About
Created to capture the vision of la dolce vita - paying homage to the Italian ways - LaStella boldly stepped into the spotlight in 2006. Just as a symphony has its tempo, so do the musically inspired LaStella wines: Leggiero, Vivace, Allegretto, Fortissimo, and Maestoso. Situated by Osoyoos Lake in the South Okanagan Valley, at the northernmost tip of the Sonoran desert, LaStella's commitment to winemaking excellence is its driving force. Low input viticulture and non-interventionist winemaking philosophy is what has lead to their rise and sought-after following. Their award-winning wines are available nationwide and internationally at select culinary hot spots, and fine wine merchants. A symphony for the senses. Come visit us, our Tasting Room is open By Appointment Friday - Sunday May - Jun 30: 11am-5pm. July 1 - Aug 31: 10am-5:30pm. Sept 1 -Oct 31: 11am- 5pm. Our Wine Shop is open 7 days per week April to October.

    Outstanding wines at La Stella
    Our first trip to the Winery at La Stella in Osoyoos was wonderful. Not only were the wines outstanding, but the hospitality of our host was exceptional. As a new wine club member we were treated to tasting older vintages not on the flight list. These library wines showed excellent quality following some bottle maturation, clearly demonstrating the potential for cellar aging. I highly recommend the winery as a must stop if you are in the Southern Okanagan.

    Phenomenal every time we visit!
    This is by far one of the best wineries in the valley to visit. The location is intimate and truly makes you feel like you’ve arrived in a Tuscan countryside winery. Sit out on the deck and view the lake over the vineyard. The staff are top customer service and wine guides who will take you through an experience with some of the best offered wines in the Okanagan! Make this a stop on your trip and enjoy time slipping away sampling amazing wine and the view you won’t be disappointed. Just make sure to book online for your tasting ;)

    Felt like we belonged here!
    We were treated like family! We booked our tasting ahead and showed up to an amazing tasting experience with Alan. He was jovial and made the experience all the better as we chatted about wine, the uniqueness of La Stella and the experience he has had working there. I would recommend this spot as a must for anyone who enjoys Okanagan and Italian wines. Especially the reds! So few places have amazing reds, but this is one of them!

Always a great experience at La Stella. Al is always very accommodating and welcomes us in as friends. Every time that we bring friends there with us, we all leave entertained, educated and smiling. Oh, the wine is fantastic as well.

I have been there twice now and I have always enjoyed their wine. I loved it so much I joined their wine club. The tasting are always great, they keep changing the glasses every time they pour another wine. Excellent friendly service. Very knowledgeable.

Exquisite wines at La Stella winery

Always a pleasure to visit La Stella. Great wines, nice people and a nice view of the lake on the terrasse. Would definitely recommend a visit (make reservation) for a wine tasting. The staff is very knowledgeable which enhance the experience. Cheers

La Stella is a beautiful winery. We had an excellent visit, tasting a handful of wines that reinforced our opinion that these are some of the best wines made in the valley. The wines compare favorably with the best from other major wine regions globally.

This is the second time we have visited LaStella, and it was even better than the first visit a few years ago!

The host is very knowledgeable and thorough in teaching about the various wines. There is absolutely no rush, the hour is yours to get acquainted with the current wines while sitting on the patio and looking over the vineyard.

The best part??? The wines are fantastic!

Authentic Rustic Wine and Olive Oil tasting experience

What a gem of a winery! Though we’ve been wine tasting in the area annually for nearly 2 decades, somehow this was our first time to La Stella- and it was our favourite experience. Leslie was a fantastic host. Wines were amazing- the 2017 Maestoso would rival the big Tuscany Sangiovese reds. They carry a limited amount of delicious olive oil- made from Sicilian olives. Beautiful rustic ambience- you can climb up the turret for even better views.
I almost hesitate to review it as it will bring too many people! But I think the word is already out- tastings were fully booked til June 25. Make sure you call in advance!!
