We called Indian Grove Riding to see if they had availability for 2, and they were able to book us right away. We went through the beautiful Osoyoos desert, guided by Susan. Susan gave us instructions on how to handle the horses and really showed us during the tour her love for the surroundings and the horses. We even saw bighorn sheep climbing the mountain. Beautiful day, very enjoyable tour. Thank you, Susan!

Our guides were entertaining and made the experience very fun, you can tell they love the horses very much and take good care of them. We loved our horses and the scenery on the trail was breathtaking. We will definitely come back for another ride next time we visit Osooyos.

I am writing to describe the life these poor horses live off season. I am spending the winter here in osoyoos and check on the status of theses beautiful creatures regularly. No matter what the weather snow, rain, freezing cold they are standing out in it. There is no shelter for them and they are all standing around crowded in corral everyday. Today is -12 and they are just standing there cold and depressed. It is heartbreaking. I am reporting this and suspect nothing will be done because it is band land. Shame on them for abusing these gentle creatures. All about the money

Horrible customer service. Called to reserve a horse ride for my 3 boys that were so excited for experience. I was told to call back after an hour, I did and then told to call back yet again because they were busy. When I finally called after 4 times they had given away my spot. They were rude and did not even let me talk when I was trying to explain what I had understood. Extremely poor customer service, would not recommend dealing with them.

We called to book and was asked to give a deposit. When we mentioned the stables were not close and we were on vacation, the lady said if we were from out of town (um, who isn't?!) we didn't have to, but to show up by 8:30am to ensure we can get on. When we arrived (early at 8:20am) we were told they were booked up and we should have come to give a deposit. Clearly disappointed (4 sad faces from our little ones) we told her that she said we would be fine and to just show up, no deposit necessary for out of town folk. This is when she became very rude and argumentative but offered for us to wait and see if someone didn't show up and the kids could still get on. Despite my better judgement, we waited-the kids were very excited to go riding. When we noticed others going up to pay (so it appeared no deposit either), one of the kids from our group commented to us that it didn't seem fair. The lady must have overheard her and then started hassling her and continuing to be rude with her (she's 12)! I heard her mentioning to another group they would get the horse that kicks and is a bit unruly. Ok, why would you have horses like that AT ALL for the public-often inexperienced riders? One family showed up late at 8:45 and she greeted them with "You're late!". The mother in the family stated they couldn't find runners and apologized. She continued to berate them and told them they were lucky they didn't give away their horses! Further, when one guest asked about a specific horse, she pointed to a skull on the ground and laughed. Don't ask if you don't want to know she said. Disgusting! Horse lovers everywhere should stay clear of this place! NEVER AGAIN!

Our family of four took an hour long ride through the desert. Our horses were easy going and fun, and our guides were very knowledgeable about the area and of horses. We look forward to doing it again.

My 2 granddaughter decided they wanted to do the 2 hour ride which meant they would ride the horses into the lake, and they sure were not disappointed, the guides were super friendly answered all of my questions about the horses and horse life in Osoyoos. There trip was a full 2 hours of fun, and funny horse stories when they returned, I would definitely recommend this stable,
The girl at the front desk was very sweet when we realized they only take cash and I suggested I would pay when we picked up the kids and she was great with that. Big thanks to Corrine, she was awesome, and she even sent me pictures f the kids adventure, they are awesome! You won’t be disappointed 😊

This is the only gig in town (summer 2017) so I guess they can do what they like but I found them to be very unprofessional. In order to secure a ride we needed to pay a deposit, which would be fine if they took credit cards, however.. they demanded it be cash so that meant 2 trips to the other side of the lake just to stand in line and hear the staff barking at each other. Make sure you bring water as it wasn't provided or even available. The provided bike helmets didn't look like they had ever been cleaned so I would also bring my ow.

The trail rides are really nice and feel safe. Pretty dusty. Fun to go in the water. One staff member back at the ranch was inexplicably grouchy but everyone else was good. Horses are nice. Note that you have to go at some point before your trail ride to place a deposit. Note also that it is cash only. Trail ride was a $80 for 2 hours. No need to go longer than that. Helmets required for those under 15 but not well enforced.
