At Heatstroke Cycle we sell, rent and service bicycles because cycling is what we love and we want to share our passion with you! Heatstroke Cycle was born out of a desire to give Osoyoos and the surrounding area a definitive Bike Shop that riders could rely on and trust for all their cycling needs throughout the year. Heatstroke Cycle is owned and operated by Richard Cooper a local Osoyoos rider who was born and raised in the idyllic lakefront community. After managing bike shops in Vancouver and the South Okanagan Richard decided that it was time for his dream to come true and began Heatstroke Cycle. Now partnered with Devinci and Electra Bicycles, Heatstroke Cycle focus is to bring performance bikes and quality service to blazing hot Osoyoos.

My husband and I rented 2 bikes and a trailer for our son. The bikes were SO comfortable I almost asked to purchase! The owner was very nice and helpful. Got us set up and going super fast.
Can't wait to rent again next year! Highly recommend!

My wife and I rented the electric bikes over the long weekend to go on our own pick and choose wine tour and it absolutely made our weekend. These bike are a lot of fun, very fast and made it extremely easy to get over to multiple wineries without barely breaking a sweat. Would absolutely recommend Heatstroke for anyone at any fitness level to visit the wineries via this method.

Loved our e-bike wine tour with Richard! He was friendly and adjusted the wineries we visited as he learned about which wines we enjoyed. The electric bicycles were easy to use and made the trip thoroughly enjoyable while we went up and down to each great spot. Thanks!

This has to be the best way to see the wineries. We met Richard at his store and from there we were whisked up to the first winery in his Cadillac convertible. From then on it was e-bikes all the way.
Richard was a fun and knowledgable host and we thoroughly recommend taking one of his tours.
If we were here for longer we’d hire his bikes too, which were so easy to ride.

I stopped in for some chain oil and try to get some local mountain bike trail knowledge. Unfortunately there is little to no mountain biking, but left 30 minutes later after talking bikes. Don't know about the bike rentals, but great place to stop by

We had a wonderful time touring all the different wineries north of the Osoyoos area. Richard took lots of time to find out what type of wine my wife liked and then custom made the trip to suit. The electric bikes we rode were a blast and made it so easy to go up some of the steeper hills in the area, yet still get lots of exercise on the flat areas. The bikes also allowed us to get such great views of the valley and hillsides. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Our party of three booked the "Golden MIle" bike tour with Heatstroke Cycle and it was a blast! The electric bikes make it so easy to get up the hills (in the heat) but let you feel like you are getting some exercise on the flats and downhills. The wineries we visited were all good and, by the end of it, we felt like we had seen a good sampling of the area. Touring on bike is so much better than riding around in a car or van, as you feel like you are really experiencing the countryside. Also, Rich, our guide, did a great job. Very highly recommended.

We were four teachers from the States that rented four electric bikes for a three hour tour around Osoyoos. Richard, the owner, was with us on our ride. What made the ride so great was that he was able to take us places we would of never found on our own. Richard was very accommodating and didn't mind our bathroom stops, taking our photos throughout the ride or answering our endless questions.
We had an excellent time and would do this again when we return.
