This beautiful little village store was warm and appealing from the outside. There was a beautiful animated Christmas workshop scene in the front window. As we walked inside we were taken back to a different time. Back to a time of the "general store". There was every kind of "penny candy", chocolates, preserves etc. that you could imagine. So many... This quirky little English themed tea and crumpet restaurant has an import sweet shop encapsulated in a truly heritage structure. The floors are undulating old growth fir creaking with every step. The structure in itself is a sight to behold but certainly not the main attraction here. Tea, scones, soup and sandwiches always seem to be popular with the friendly... More

I took my niece and nephew there to get some candy, they were completely overwhelmed by the selection. They loved it, they enjoyed it more than going to a modern candy shop. Enjoyed lunch there just the other day with a friend. Scones were lovely and fresh, the Devonshire cream amazing and the homemade Mowbray pie was delicious.

Ive been here for tea and scones with a friend and coming from England, I think it's just like a cream tea back home - very yummy. I have also taken my teenage daughter here for candy. It's always exciting to see little treats from home as well as many sweet treats that are new to us. Their ice cream... More

Some many candies to choose from, and not enough room on the belt. The tea and scones are yummy - fresh and full of flavor. Convenient parking right across the street.

Great selection of teas, candies and drygoods. The staff are very helpful and friendly. This is a great stop of interest for locals and anyone wanting a taste of the old country store.
