Stopped in for a look and possibly lunch with a few friends. Went to pay and was shocked to find no acceptance of cash money.
The owner suggested it was to protect their staff although none were wearing gloves. We all left and wondered how will it be for the elderly and people with out accounts at a financial institution.
Me and my friends will not support this store moving forward.

I went in to buy some lunch and got to the till to be told no cash... the sign on the door when you come in says that but it was quite small and this is not something I typically look for...
This store does not accept cash, they are supposedly "protecting their staff" with this move, but what they are really doing is giving our governments a step up in wanting us all to follow along as sheep.
I will not support stores that don't accept cash. This is legal tender and as long as it is in circulation, it should be accepted.
You think it is dirtier than the groceries that have been handled probably by over a dozen people before they end up in your basket....
What about the hundreds of people who don't have a credit card and may not be comfortable using a bank card in public - like another visitor mentioned.

Two friends and I stopped there yesterday to shop. One of my friends was a 70 year old handicapped lady on oxygen. She picked up a few things and when she went to pay they would not accept cash so she had to leave the groceries there. I did not learn of it until after I had paid and gone to the car. Not everyone has credit cards and a lot of seniors on limited incomes do not get paid until next week. I was mortified at her embarrassment and I will definitely spread the word and never go back.

Extremely fresh/affordable vegetables & meat in Abbey with a mini farm/animals that families can explore. Happy customers and cheerful staff that believe in opening doors. Everything is extremely fresh and delicious.

It had limited selection and high prices. The ice cream shop outside had only a few choices and no options for anything other than a cone. Not helpful for someone with a gluten intolerance. I won't be back.

We had just stopped for gas in Abbottsford and spotted this "farmer's market". There was a lot of very nice prouce as well as home baked bread and cookies. We had thought aboutt getting a sandwich for the road rather than make a restaurant stop later, we spotted a sandwich bar at the abck of the bsiness. The young man took our orders - we got to chooses the bread (sourdough for me) and there is a gluten free option which one of our aprty needed. We took our wrapped sandwiches to the car and set off. What a treat. Loads of fresh meat, vegetables and condiments - all exactly as ordered and we had four very different selections. Along with the super cookies and a big bunch of fresh asparagus, I can say we had a great experience.

Bad experience....purchased couple of items. Next day I opened it and it was old and mouldy. Of course couldn’t find my receipt anymore so just tossed it to trash. Product didn’t have best before date, so couldn’t tell how ancient it was. That was my first and last time at this market.

They have good quality foods in here. Keep your eyes on the sign out front for special sales. I have been coming here long enough to remember their original (smaller) location. This newer store is very welcoming.

Nature’s Pickin’s is a delightful farmers market with fresh food and a food counter for a haste snack. We had driven from Vancouver with our little 20 month old granddaughter and she was hungry. She loved the Smoky Gouda, the Shepherd’s pie and the ice creams.
The staff are friendly and very helpful and you can have a fun picnic on the benches outside at the back.

Saw their sign for stew beef. BOGO To me that means buy one get one. But that's not how they charged me. The manager Brian explained to me that that means you pay full price for the first one and get 50% off the second one. Getting tired of being ripped off by merchants without integrity.
