Even with the boardwalk full of snow it is still a gorgeous place to take the family for a walk. Peaceful and relaxing. Just don't try to bring a stroller during the winter; it's best to carry your littles!

Very well done boardwalk with lots of different side walks to explore. Didn't see any beavers the day we went but it was very interesting and the signs explained a lot about the habitat. Boardwalk is very well maintained and you could easily take a...More

Easy to get to and a beautiful nature area with watchable wildlife. The beavers were active and we were very pleased with many close sightings of them and other aquatic creatures. Best time for viewing the wildlife is from dusk until dark. Walking shoes or...More

On a cold, frosty winter day this is a beautiful place to walk. The pond had a skating rink on it, and there were families out skating and playing hockey. I look forward to going back in the summer and exploring the extensive trail system.

Tons of trails, easy walks, and beaver sightings almost guaranteed as long as you go around dusk. We've gone a handful of times and seen beavers every time, including adults and baby beavers.

This is the place to walk in Hinton. The boardwalk area itself is very pretty for a stroll and for enjoying an afternoon. The beaver boardwalk also connects to many trails through Hinton. The trails are gravel and it’s a wonderful place to get your...More

What a special place this is. The boardwalks meander around the ponds, and you can explore the whole area or just a small patch. The beaver dams and lodges are great to see. We were told to be there right on dusk for the chance...More

Early morning is nice on the boardwalk and you can spend as little as 15 minutes to a few hours exploring the area.
