We had plans to arrive in Jasper for the night, but because of the weather, decided to stay in Hinton. Wanting to get out for a walk, we went the extra 15 minutes down to the lake in this park and it was beautiful!

The whole park is nice. Camping, boating, swimming. Fishing is not very good. Jarvis Lake is deep and cold and connected to Kelly's bathtub

A great place to explore the wetlands, listen to the song birds and generally be at peace while kayaking or canoeing Jarvis Creek.

Quiet getaway with spacious, scenic lots with full hook-ups in the foothills forest. Easy access on a scenic drive north from the Yellowhead.

There is a little of everything - swimming, fishing, boating, cycling, cross-country skiing, hiking -...More

Nice park to drive through with several hiking trails. Several spots for wildlife observation with blinds that you can sit it. We saw a coyote.
