This place has it all: a community center, art exhibitions, swimming pool, climbing walls, etc etc. My home town is "well equipped" (to say the least), but I would love to have this place near home.

Nice place to visit when you want to escape the touristy-expensive activities. Here it has a little feeling of home with its gym, library, rock-climbing wall, cafe and activities. A good place to have fun or relax!

Worth going to see a local hockey game had a fun time with new friends, their first time in Canada. The Ice hockey was great and the locals friendly and helpful as none of us new the rules

Our group enjoyed the challenge of a new climbing wall experience. They enjoyed the belayed routes and also having the option of self-belay stations.

Great facility with multiple rooms for weights and cardio as well as a climbing wall and pools. Pool is currently closed but everything else is open.

We went climbing with the family as it was so cold, we wanted to stay indoors. We ended up going back 2 more times to climb, swim and workout. All facilities were new and up to date. Climbing area had very helpful staff and rentals for shoes and harnesses. they have auto belay, so you don't need anyone to belay you and can go at your own pace. Great workout! the workout areas were clean and had a big variety. What an amazing amenity to have for such a small town! And prices are very reasonable.

A really great gathering spot with a pool, gym, rock climbing walls and exercise classes. It also houses a library and has a juice and snack bar. Very clean and inviting.

This is what a rec centre should be. It has everything without being too rule-based or uppity. The rock wall has over 100 routs with more than 50 ropes. This goes from kids levels all the way up to expert with several overhangs. The building is a green one and you can tell. The staff are super helpful and really proud of what they have there.

Stopped in on drive through to Calgary. Excellent pool facility, 10 lane 25m lap pool, kept slightly cool for good workouts; play pool was considerably warmer, with 2 lap lanes, river run, water slide. Large open area, lots of light. Showers/change rooms large and clean. Lots of open lane swim times each day.
Also in same building are some awesome climbing walls, cardio/weight room, and the local library.

Not only did this Centre employ such awesome green energy and building materials, it was beautiful and served a great diversity of people. It was beautiful and had so many things to do including pools, waterslide, rock climbing wall, gym, studio, and even a coffee area to sit and lounge. It had so much more and I definitely will go back to visit and enjoy the many exercise classes.
