I have to admit this was one of the stops I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately the whole route from the car park to the falls was pure ice. We watched 5 people fall over going up and on the way down everyone crawled...More

This hike was great for the first time beginners. The views are amazing and pictures do not do it justice **HIGHLY recommend taking the "more difficult" way up and coming back down the easy trail. ***

Grassi Lake is quite beautiful. The hike (also done by my 4 year old) was nice. We went up the easy way, and down the steeper trail. Along the hike there are beautiful spots. However, I wish I had known that a vein of powerlines...More

Being a prairie boy I had never seen much of the mountains. This was a great experience for my family and I. Went up the easy side, and came down the more challenging side. Breathtaking views. Look forward to coming back again one day.

This steep, but wide trail climbs up the mountain to some pretty little ponds. The name says lakes, but they are really too small to be lakes. They have very clear water and a beautiful turquoise color. We strolled up the trail with frequent stops...More

This is a nice hike in Canmore. There are two routes to get to the lakes, an easy one and a harder one. The easy one gradually ascends up the mountain on a large gravel road until you come to the lakes. The harder one...More

Having read some info on this walk we set off for an easy stroll to view the Grassy Lakes. Information in the car-park explained that following some rock falls the second lake was not accessible. We decided to go on and took the 'Easy' route....More

Yes as long as the stroller has big wheels. We have a schwinn stroller that would have worked. An umbrella or stroller with plastic wheels would not be recommended. Do not try the hard way with a stroller as the path is... More
