About
Rated one of the best new courses in Canada, it is unlikely that you have ever played a golf course of such character and challenge. This is a course to match the grandeur and scale of the Canadian Rockies. Envision yourself teeing off at the edge of an immense, untouched wilderness reserve, gazing out across 600 acres of spectacular mountain, grassland, and valley views. Silvertip Resort boasts a spectacular 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Master Golf Course Architect, Les Furber. Silvertip Resort Course caters to golfers worldwide with its par-72 course– fairways rise and fall through 600 feet of elevation change and challenge with championship tees with a slope rating of 153. With five sets of tees and a course length between 5,100 to 7,200 yards depending on tee placement, it is a course that offers both scratch golfers and recreational players a challenging but enjoyable round.

The absolute best golf course in the area. We played the Fairmont courts and this was an absolute better course. Greens were in better shape, fairways were well manicured. Yes, there was construction but it didn’t change our play or enjoyment of the course. This is the top course in the area.

Perfect weather for 2 rounds on the weekend. Unfortunately there is construction going on around 3 holes which takes away from the beauty of the course a bit. Some greens had transplanted turf which didn't look very good. Staff in the pro shop and on the course were excellent and very friendly.

Had an amazing round of golf in the most beautiful place on earth. The staff was amazingly friendly. They had reduced the fees appropriately since a few of the holes were under repair. Would definitely play again!

I have played Silvertip probably a dozen times and it has been great. Unfortunately it seems they are putting a preference into building up the residential area instead of focusing on the golf course. We were provided a discounted rate because hole #5 is on a temporary green. They failed to also include that you drive through noisy construction for holes 5, 6 and 8, hole 6 is surrounded by construction fences, hole 8 tee box is ripped up so everyone plays from the forward tees (essentially making it a par 4). Several holes have been changed and are newly sodded to accommodate the neighboring houses so that they get hit less. Several greens also have newly sodded areas. Bunkers on hole #11 are being redone and surrounded by snow fences. Because of all of the house construction, there are several holes on the back nine that are incredibly noisy from all of the construction.

Would highly recommend playing other courses in the area. I would give Silvertip 3-5 years to get sorted out.

Top marks for facilities, staff and the course! From the pro shop to the driving range to the starter - the Silvertip Resort is excellent! This is a gorgeous challenging course surrounded by snow capped mountains. My new favourite course!

from beginning to end this course was Top Notch -- From the beautiful restaurant patio with breathtaking views to the golf course to the Pro Shop.

The course was in excellent condition from the greens to the fairways. The elevated tees let you take in the stunning scenery. We rented clubs which were current year professional clubs.

Above all else the staff at the golf course, pro shop and restaurants were all friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

My husband and I loved golfing Silvertip. We are from Saskatchewan, so the terrain and views are definitely different from home! Be prepared to walk and lots of elevation changes on foot - we each walked ~10,000 steps and climbed the equivalent of 23 flights of stairs, and we had a cart! The cart path between holes is a beautiful drive through the rugged landscape and is a treat itself.

COVID summer of golf! So beautiful and well worth the pricey golf fees. I played great! My second best round this summer of 91.

The staff are superb and such incredible views of the three sisters.

We decided to come here for dinner one night while visiting Canmore. And we weren't disappointed!

What an incredible view from the patio! Just amazing!

Service was excellent (thanks, Luke!).

Food was good (beef dip & fish tacos), prices were very reasonable, and combined with the view & the service, just an outstanding experience!

Really wish we had the opportunity to golf it, but only so much time & too much to do on Holidays.

Would absolutely recommend it!
