I've never used the indoor facilities like the pool, gym or climbing walls, but have come by several times as an out-of-town visitor. There's a good ambience here, people are excited to be going somewhere, working out, doing something. The main gather place has lots of seating and washrooms, and you can access the public library, art gallery or coffee shop from here, or just bring your own lunch if you don't want to eat outside. The architecture is stunning, and it seems like the place really, really works as a community hub.

This was a great place for our active family. I was able to swim laps in the big pool while my kids (over the age of 9) played in the other pools and used the slides. Then in the afternoon my kids went back in to enjoy the inflatable obstacle course. Later in the evening we all went wall climbing. Paid one low fee for the entire day and could come and go as we wanted to. We will definitely be back !

I visited the pools on a busy Sunday and there were lots of families enjoying the toys, lazy river and water slide. There’s also a large slide for adults and lane swimming for those who want to exercise or train. I enjoyed the hot pool with a spectacular view and the steam room.

Very disappointing. HUGE hot tub blocked off by a lifeguard ( poor usage of qualified staff) and limited to 20 people. You had to line up, shivering on deck, under the circulation fans, for up to 5 minutes before you could get in. Never experienced such silly policing. Been to and worked at many smaller pools and it’s amazing but when people are able to enter and exit at will it’s usually not an issue with overcrowding. Went to the Cochrane pool with a much smaller hot tub and way more than 20 people comfortably entering and exiting at will. Sad because it was a nice facility but the main pool was slightly cool so the hot tub was needed. I heard one Sr say they couldn’t stand in line and wanted to use the hot tub but they just left.

Save your money going to the pool on cold days as it’ll be freezing inside the pool area. The ToC is well aware of their HVAC issues on cold days yet they won’t tell you and happily take your money to get in. Very unpleasant experience freezing and then leaving not even after one hour. Not worth the money.

We spent a couple afternoons in the pools here. The lazy river was a hit & the hot pool to relax in March in the mountains was lovely. There was a waterslide & my Grandson spent many an hour playing basketball in the water. This was a return trip at his bidding & we were not disappointed. The staff were stellar as well. Happy times we had 😊

What a facility! Staff were also great! We visited 3x one day when it was real cold out. Wish the water slide was open for family swim is only downer. Wall climbing was so fun. Definitely go back next time. Great value.

Loved the pool-but I did not find the family swim hours were great. They were 9-3 and 6-9 ( but maybe that is due to swim clubs.)

Plan your day around those times if the kids want to rock climb. Rock climb early and then swim after. Pack snacks for the kids. There is an attached library to read books after a busy day.

Would be awesome to have shampoo/conditioner/body was in the showers for visitors. Thanks

We visited this facility and were told that kids 7 and under were to be within arms reach. Complying with the rules we we again approached by an elderly lifeguard who rudely told my 8 year old to stay with his parents. Huh? He is a very good swimmer and was in the same pool as me. I found it rude that this lifeguard could not discuss her concerns with me instead of my son. I approached another lifeguard and told her my son was 8 and she said that 9 and under must be within arms reach. Why am I hearing different things from different people? Why must I helicopter over a child who is a great swimmer? I am the best judge of my child's ability. The manner in which we were treated was unsettling and I would not return to this pool. It is unfortunate that one lifeguard who was obviously having a bad day took it upon herself to make sure we felt unwelcome by constantly staring at us and eventually scolding my son. Not impressed at all :(

I'm a beginner climber with experience in multiple other gyms yet was treated like an idiot. I told the staff it was my first time there yet nothing was explained about the set up of the gym and belay stations which were vastly different to my local gym, nor of the requirement to pay extra to be assessed on your ability to belay or lead climb. I understand the safety aspect of this but the staff member was just rude, unfriendly and unhelpful about the whole situation. It was assumed I had my own belay device (I guess you can hire these but there was no mention of it). After being messed around for about 25 minutes I left. Thankfully I was given a full refund.
The climbs looked decent however the area is quite small and congested.
Would not recommend this place (particularly for beginners) and I won't be going back, especially for the inflated price.
