This is the crown jewel of all the park land in the Rose City. Whether you want to go for a walk, appreciate the flowers or read a book, you will enjoy the area. Its highlight is the Welland Crowland War Memorial, originally a WWI memorial unveiled just as WWII was beginning. Made of granite, the inclusion of a soldier and a female figure acknowledge the role of those who fought in the Great War and those who served on the home front. The whimsical bronze work involving Alban Leon, a local businessman, might prompt you to chill, as would time with the ubiquitous Canada geese. Homage to those who fought in later conflicts has been added to the memorial.

My wife and I decided to visit the park on a beautiful Saturday. There were at least 2 bridal parties taking pictures. The beutiful flowers made a perfect backdrop for their memories. I would highly recommend visiting any warm sunny day. Why take a picnic and stay for a while?

I took my son here quite a few times. He likes riding his scooter along the paths. We also like the nice pond. There's a playground as well. Benches. Lots of grass to run around on, play soccer. Very nice park.

Usually quiet and a pleasant place to take a stroll, just try not to go when the crowds are there to play volleyball. Then it can be noisy and there’s nowhere to park. Lots of ducks in the pond but PLEASE PEOPLE read the sign and stop feeding them bread! Why would bread be good for any wildlife??

A huge pond that welcomes ducks, a toddler park, regular size park and splash pad to name a few. This park has so much to offer! Pavilion, picnic tables, shady spaces and plenty of green grass. Defiantly can spend 2+ hours with your kids here. Bathrooms are just beyond the sand volleyball pits. There is even a baseball diamond. Definitely a must visit park! Lots of friendly locals here too:)

Wanna picnic? Got kids? Want to cool off in the splash park? Enjoy Volleyball? Would you like to feed the ducks at the pond? Flowers? We have roses, the Rose City!! Playgrounds, ball fields or frisbee! Take the dog for a walk. All of this is possible at Chippawa park! We go here to walk 2-3 times a week. My kids go to the park 4-5 times a week ! Great place to just hang out or get physical!
