My boys love coming to the Heritage House museum to roam the house, see how people used to live, and especially for their special exhibits! The recent Harry Potter exhibit had some neat trivia and vintage books. The Halloween fright nights are fun too!

This is a small museum, but it offers some interesting insights into Smiths Falls and its history. The museum may lack an overall theme, and could use some additional interpretation, but they present their artifacts well. Very reasonably priced, too, and the staff are friendly...More

This is a heritage home filled with antiques and period pieces with a fascinating history. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There was an additional exhibit (wedding dresses) that was an added delight.

Great old house. Interesting architecture facts about the house. Well preserved and has the only 2 story privy left in Ontario. Had the option to do a self guided tour or guided. Very friendly staff

An interesting view of early settler's lives. We went on a self guided tour. Friendly staff. Don't miss the Victorian glass display.

For families with children on boats, the House Museum is an ideal walk along the canal from the marine basin. The collection of items can be the foundation for conversations with children about the history of the area. Children find particularly fascinating the fact that...More

Waste of taxpayers dollars, it is an old house with old furniture, which in itself is not a problem. But the historic significense of the house has nothing to do with the furnishings, for the amount that it costs the tax payers to support offset...More
