Parry Sound, Ontario, honors it favorite son, Bobby Orr, in a remarkable way in this Museum which also serves as a Hall of Family for outstanding Community members who are also enshrined here. This site is at the bottom of Bay Street adjacent to the water at the ferry dock and an integral part of the much larger Center for... More

I took my son here to learn about Bobby and I learnt something new myself. The interactive games keep the younger ones busy while you can go explore and read about Bobby. I also enjoyed reading about the local athletes.

Awesome rainy day activity: We were on our way to Toronto when we decided to stop in and take a break from our Northern trip to Sudbury. My husband being a huge Boston Bruins wanted to see this place. Nicely shared with a community center, this little museum is jam packed with all the history and accomplishments of a hockey... More

This building is not only a tribute to Bobby Orr but also a great meeting place. The views of the bay are wonderful. The walking trails, with picnic sites are adjacent. A new copper statue celebrating Chief Francis Pegahmagabow 1889-1952 is amazing.

I learned a lot about Bobby Orr at the museum and the impact he has had on Parry Sound. Definitely a HOMETOWN HERO. My husband had the pleasure of playing golf with him at a celebrity event at Deer Ridge Golf Course many years ago. He told me what a gentleman he was and after reading all about him in... More

This destination was on my 'bucket list' so am glad I finally made it. My sister and I took our time to explore the many exhibits and memorabilia of the legendary Bobby Orr.

Located in the same building as the theatre, it is located on the shores of the lake. They have ample free off-street parking. Adult entry fee is $9.00, but you can find a 2 for 1 coupon on-line that you print and present at the check-in. The lower floor is the gift shop at the entrance and numerous displays inside... More

This Hall of Fame did not disappoint. Small admission fee allows you entry into the mecca of Bobby Orr's hockey life. The location is well appointed and very professional. Displays are interactive and provide great insight into the hockey life and community involvement of Bobby Orr. Great time and money well spent. Would recommend.
