My sisters and their spouses and my wife and I took the two hour sunset cruise on September 20th and enjoyed it very much. The captain and crew were top notch. The weather was good but cloudy. It was a good value for the money.

Well first of all we were supposed to head out on Wednesday but the weather was not in our favour. Tried calling to see if we can change but it kept going to voicemail then saying the mailbox was full. Thank goodness someone answered on messenger and was able to get it changed . So on Friday we had to drive about 2 hours to get to Parry sound. It was raining a little when we got there but people were getting on the Island Queen boat so we went to our boat no body was there. Tried calling & when someone finally answered they said it was cancelled due to Weather which is fine but never received anything from them stating it was cancelled. I asked if I was going to get a refund he he said will do that right now asked my name and hung up. So have no idea if or when i will get a refund. Very unprofessional especially from the one brother in charge of booking. I do not recommend going to the Company. Better off going on the Island Queen cruise

Booked the Wednesday evening dinner cruise. Unfortunately, the boat's caterer had not delivered on his promise to provide the food. So, there was no dinner. However, instead of cancelling the cruise the staff provided us with free munchies and we took one of the most enjoyable cruises I have ever had on Georgian Bay. It was stormy weather. The wind blew, the rain came down hard and the waves developed white caps and large swells. The Chippewa, in it's previous life a "Maid of the Mist" boat took it all without any problem and gave us a fantastic ride. Just before we were to turn back the clouds behind us parted and we were treated to a full , intense rainbow right in front of us. What a thrill. We got a refund for the meal portion of the trip before we even returned to the dock. Thank you Chippwea crew for a real serendipididous experience.
