If you are looking for Native and Canadian made items this is the place to shop. They have a great selection. We purchased a few things (pottery and Canadian made Buffalo leather wallet) The ladies are very knowledgeable and helpful. We have now placed an order online for some Moccasins for Christmas Gifts.

I visited this shop years ago as a tourist, and now I have the good fortune to live in the area. I paid a return visit, looking for a specific item and not expecting to find it, but they did in fact have something that fit the bill perfectly. As well, I ended up finding a super anniversary present for my husband. The people who looked after me were truly nice, and the items I bought as gifts were carefully bagged and boxed. The merchandise in the store seems authentic and largely Canadian-made and sourced, and I was happy to support this kind of made in Canada philosophy. Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience. I will certainly be back.

Small, but full of unique Indigenous themed gifts. Many one-of-a-kind items. Well worth a visit if you're in Parry Sound.

Having been through Parry Sound on holiday a few times, I finally managed to get into the Wolf Den. The fare was the usual northern ontario tourist trap merchandise, with some nicer handicrafts thrown in. I decided on a pair of earrings, and apparently interrupted a conversation between employees by trying to purchase them. The only words offered to me through the entire transaction was the total; not so much as a thank-you. The employees carried on their conversation as if I was not even there. No offers of help while I browsed, no hello as we entered.

If as a store you're selling typical merchandise at typical prices you'd better give customers a reason to come to you rather than your competition. Treating your customers as if you appreciate their business would be a good first step.

I buy a pair of moccasins twice a year from Wolf Den. Not only do they carry a great selection of recognizable brands such as Laurentien Chief, but they also have a lot of unique gifts and aboriginal items. Their leather products, tourist-y gifts, jewelry and dream catcher's are one of a kind! A must-see for tourists and locals!

My husband was working in the area a year ago and came across The Wolf Den. He knows how I love moccasins, and how hard it is to find good quality. After talking to Doris, he purchased a pair for me. Since then we have bought a pair for him, we have had a pair shipped by the store out to our grandson in Alberta, and most recently my husband ordered another pair for myself for Christmas this year. I still wear the original pair from a year ago and aside from a little worn fur trim they are standing up really well. In the past before The Wolf Den I have never had a pair last more than a season.
The service you receive whether shopping in the store, on line or by phone is wonderful, and the quality of the merchandise is worth every penny.

Great little store, with a lot of neat gift ideas and cottage decorations. A little crowded inside, but definitely worth taking a look inside. There are a lot of cool things, so be prepared to buy something!

One of the moccasins that I purchased from The Wolf Den in October 2023 had a thread break in two places after six months of use. As you can see in the photo, the moccasins were in good shape and looked almost like new. They refused to offer a guarantee for their product and claimed that the thread broke because I had not trimmed the nails; it looked like one of these nails appeared on my heel. My advice for anyone purchasing moccasins from The Wolf Den is to be aware that they use low-quality rotten threads for sewing, resulting in short-lived products. Even though the products may look good initially, the Wolf Den offers no guarantee.

Went to see this store because it was #29 on the list of top 50 things to do in Parry Sound, ON.

It was as expected: very beautiful items but very expensively priced.

Really liked that they are all Canadian made.
