Went to see this store because it was #29 on the list of top 50 things to do in Parry Sound, ON.

It was as expected: very beautiful items but very expensively priced.

Really liked that they are all Canadian made.

Wonderful Shopping Experience

If you are looking for Native and Canadian made items this is the place to shop. They have a great selection. We purchased a few things (pottery and Canadian made Buffalo leather wallet) The ladies are very knowledgeable and helpful. We have now placed an order online for some Moccasins for Christmas Gifts.

Love this store

Great service from Pat and the owner. They have interesting native crafts. Good selection of moccasins and were willing to order and ship . My husband is very particular and both women spent a lot of time with him trying to satisfy. Don't be put off by the size of the shop. I thought it was huge looking online but it's small. But lots in there !

Indigenous Wares

Great little shop with a lot of indigenous wares for sale. I purchased a pair of moccasins a few months ago already and I am extremely happy with them. The shop has a lot of really cool clothing and trinkets available. Definitely a place to check out!

Lovely people, genuine product

I visited this shop years ago as a tourist, and now I have the good fortune to live in the area. I paid a return visit, looking for a specific item and not expecting to find it, but they did in fact have something that fit the bill perfectly. As well, I ended up finding a super anniversary present for my husband. The people who looked after me were truly nice, and the items I bought as gifts were carefully bagged and boxed. The merchandise in the store seems authentic and largely Canadian-made and sourced, and I was happy to support this kind of made in Canada philosophy. Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience. I will certainly be back.

Best Moccasins Around!

I buy a pair of moccasins twice a year from Wolf Den. Not only do they carry a great selection of recognizable brands such as Laurentien Chief, but they also have a lot of unique gifts and aboriginal items. Their leather products, tourist-y gifts, jewelry and dream catcher's are one of a kind! A must-see for tourists and locals!

Typical Touristic Gift Shop

After visiting their website, we went there with the thought of buying a pair of moccasins. I was a bit disappointed when I saw them. They are not the great quality shown in the pictures. Otherwise, the store offers a large selection of overpriced items, but this is expected from a touristic gift shop.
The staff was nice and friendly, trying to be helpful.

Hi Corina C Thanks for coming in to the store and sharing your views. We're glad you found the staff helpful, but we're confused about your other comments. Our moccasins are exactly as shown as on our website - we don't photoshop anything. They are all great quality - made in Canada, of natural leather ranging from deerskin to moosehide, caribou hide and buffalo. They are hand cut, hand laced and hand beaded. The quality can't be any higher! We do have a large selection of other items, again made by Canadian artisans. Our pricing is fair. Perhaps you are accustomed to seeing 'souvenirs' made in China. These, of course, are lower priced, but also of general lower quality. We hope you find the opportunity to visit again. We'd be happy to explain what makes The Wolf Den special!
