One of the better arenas around. Great ice on 4 pads, gym, pool, running track and basket ball court. Need better food (pizza bar recently closed - too bad). Also need a good gym. But, great for hockey!

Swimming, hockey, basketball and a gym. Many other activities to do and sign up for. Clean, well kept place. Also a great place to do in the evening if you have nothing else to do.

This is my default pool when Ray Twinney Centre is closed or the times don't work for me. I like to lane swim and find it relaxing. Not so at the Magna Centre. Likewise at Ray Twinney the lane swim coincides with Aquafit but the big difference is the type of music and volume. It is the most aggravating music... More

As a lifelong swimmer now almost 60 I wanted somewhere to swim for exercise. Not having been here before and not wanting to do anything over exertion I chose to swim at the time of the public swim. There lies the biggest problem ever. The public swim was timed at the same time as the lane swim, so I expected... More

Good quality ice, including one Olympic size pad, large dressing rooms and excellent viewing area. The pool on the other side is always clean and the water isn't too laden with chemicals. Overall this is one of the better rec areas around. Plenty of parking, too. The gym is good for basketball and badminton. The workout area is privately owned... More

This place is great for so many reasons, skating, swimming, programs, etc. My daughter does private swim lessons here which are fantastic and the change rooms are always clean. I take my toddler to their drop in parent/tot program on Tuesdays/ Thursdays and he loves it!

This is a very nice spot in Newmarket for recreational activities for both kids and adults. It has hockey, pool, skating, gym and what not. So far we were using pool and ice rink. No problems at all. The water in pool could be warmer, but on the other hand it makes you doing more activity to warm up. Family... More
