If you haven't tried the food at the Cafe Roxy lately, then you absolutely must! New manager Chef Glenn concocts the most amazing soups - today I had Cream of Chicken with Mushrooms - a winner! The Cafe also has an all you can eat salad bar, a tasty variety of sandwiches and wraps, homemade muffins, scones and sweet treats.... More

First time in Midland, and we came for a concert at the Midland Cultural Centre. What a great space! Nice and comfortable, free-standing chairs so you can shift them a bit this way or that as needed, and you don't have to share an armrest, easy to see the stage from wherever you are. They are a "scent-free" space, they... More

The cultural centre in Midland houses many great theatre and cultural arts-based events in this area. But it's gift shop is really hidden gem sourcing only from local artisans there's all kinds of interesting and really well done gifts.

We stopped in during a rainy afternoon. There are 2 small art galleries in the building and a lovely bistro for a snack. If I lived in Midland I am sure I would be using this building for the various activities offered. As well, the theatre seems to have some good shows throughout the year. Nice clean washrooms. Very helpful... More

We attended our first concert at the MCC last night. The Rotary Room was set up with round tables of 8, with excellent acoustics and sight lines. The entertainment, Wayne Buttery and the Groove Project was outstanding. A group of very seasoned musicians who kept the audience entertained in a small and intimate concert. Will definitely keep the MCC in... More

This cultural centre is a gem, a beautiful, modern space offering so much. My children have taken art classes, we've seen shows, enjoyed art work, shopped the gorgeous local arts and crafts, had lunches and even worked in my mobile office enjoying coffee and comfort. An inspiring and welcoming multi-functional space! Love it

Quest Art Gallery and Art School are a major part of the Midland Cultural Centre. Offering local and not local visual artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work, through exhibits that are chosen by administrators several times a year..there is a gallery for group exhibitions and one for one person or two person shows upstairs. The centre also... More

Went to see the Weston Silver Band, which if you get the chance to see anywhere, take it. The venue is very new, and quite nice. This is the second brass band concert I have seen there and while the music is outstanding, the venue is not ideal. You are placed in a small room, too close to the band,... More

This venue has a small intimate theatre which is an excellent spot to enjoy a play. My friends and I saw Goodbye Piccadilly, and were thrilled with the production. The cafe is open during the day and evening and features daily specials. A lovely place!
