Awesome interactive experience for kids
Nov. 2019
Took my 12 year old nephew here for his birthday. Had SO much fun! Loved the whole thing, was curious about all of it. Went back multiple times for some exhibits. Go with kids and just let them have fun interacting with the exhibits and other kids. It's awesome!

Great museum with lots of stuff to see and do
Aug. 2019 • Family
I brought my 1 year old who was not walking yet. He had lots of fun in the room for crawling babies. And the block area he was just throwing them but he enjoys touching everything. Oh the wall actvities he had fun with touching all the different things. And upstairs. He had a blast in the ball pit too. I love that wednesdays are half off. I would recommend this place to anybody with young children as there is lots to see and do. I also like that there are events as well. It is nice they have a restaurant for adults too.

First visit, amazing time!
Jul. 2019 • Family
This was our first visit. Staff were extremely nice from customer service to staff on the floor. Went with kids age 3& 5 and they loved the different activities on each floor. Their favourite was the balloons, ball pit ( even adults went in there). We were allowed to leave for lunch and re-enter which kids loved going out to get some food and come back to play.
We spend 4 hours here including our lunch break.
Parking is behind the building and it cost us $ 10 for 4 hours they accept cash, mastercard or visa.Very wheelchair and stroller friendly facility with lots of space to move around.
Every floor has bathrooms.
There are snack tables on the main floor but they do not sale any food. By customer service they have some chips and pop only. There is a restaurant attached but we did not check that out.
Great time, cannot wait to come back.
We went on $ 7.00 Wednesday.

Surprising and delightful little museum
Jun. 2019 • Family
This museum is a cross between an interactive art museum and a science centre, with wonderful features of both. There were so many things to play with, including a ball pit for adults, a balloon room, a floor keyboard, and a maker space. The young staff members were very friendly and helpful. Exhibits were educational and engaging. We went in the late afternoon mid-week. It was not crowded at all and there were opportunities to try everything that interested us. It would be a great place to bring kids - but two adults enjoyed it very much.

Great Little Museum
Apr. 2019 • Friends
I've visited TheMuseum several times, and each time I've enjoyed my experience. The first two floors are mostly static in their exhibits and geared towards small children, but their special exhibits are always interesting to see and enjoyable for adult visitors. I particularly enjoyed the Spectrum exhibit the last time I was there. Well done overall!

Children’s play day
Apr. 2019 • Family
We were travelling through the area and brought our 4 and 2 year old. We arrived an hour before closing and we should have budgeted more time for this. I’m sure the kids could have spent several hours here. This is not a typical museum - very interactive and geared towards young children. My kids loved the first floor building area and the ball pit on the fourth floor. If you are looking for things to do for adults, this is likely not the place for you. We would consider visiting again with children.

Some decent things to do, but overall I think they need to refresh the exhibits.

We had been to The Museum in the past and recently this month in January 2019. I didn't see much difference between the scope of exhibits and I think for the most part is geared to younger children, perhaps under seven or eight. There were some interesting items like the brain exhibit and the kids like the bed of nails, but aside from those two areas, we feel it's pretty stale. The people working there were nice and I think they need to bring in some loaned items. The fourth floor was under construction, so we felt that the price could have dropped a bit due to that situation. I think there is potential there. I put all the things on second floor on the first floor and market that as the kids floor and this would open up that area for some interesting exhibits, more learning. There a lot of space that isn't being used on the second floor, which could host a lot more items. Perhaps you could contact other museums and get some loaned pieces.

Hi Jim, thanks for your rating and review. We're thrilled you enjoyed the BRAIN exhibition and that the kids enjoyed the bed of nails on our second floor. Coming in during our fourth-floor exhibition changeover, you should have received our discounted rate of $9.95 compared to our usual $13.95 general admission rate. We're thrilled to be working on our new colour exhibition SPECTRUM, opening on January 24th. SPECTRUM is an interactive, immersive, shareable, and playable experience with 14 fun and colourful installations for all ages.We do hope your family will return to check it out!

Pleasantly surprised

Our kids age 8 and 10 found enough to amuse themselves here for about 3 hours. They loved the digi play space, but didn't find the brain exhibit very interactive - it was a lot of reading for kids.
