Dino exhibit lots of fun

A great variety of activities My kids loved the video wall the most and many varieties of fossils. The exhibit is small enough for a nice half day visit.

I took my grand daughter during the Christmas break and she enjoyed herself immensely. The exhibit (history of Berlin-Kitchener) was set up well and it really gave you a taste of what it was like during that time. Really well done.

Wonderful addition to the city and full of interesting history about the region. Good for all ages. We took folks from out of town and they quite enjoyed it (and we learned something new, too!)

I came here with my 3 kiddos (aged 5 - 9) during the Christmas holidays. They had various activities going on for the kids. We saw 2 presentations with Professor Beaker, in one they extracted DNA from grapes and in the other they saw Elephant toothpaste. The kids also got to do a scavenger hunt as we walked through the... An excellent history of Waterloo region. Many displays and demonstrations for all age groups. There is theater that shows a great history of the area.

I went to the Waterloo Region Museum in part because I was curious about the architecture. The building is bright and modern. The exhibit (history of Berlin-Kitchener) was set up well and there was a lot to read and learn. Really enjoyed my visit and would definitely return!

I took my family there for a fun afternoon on a beautiful spring day. It is enjoyable to walk through the Pioneer village and speak to staff and gain a historical perspective of life at that time. The museum was also interesting but as the day was beautiful, we preferred to linger in the village.

This is always a fun place ot visit with your family: it's educational, open with heritage homes and furniture. During the summer they have lots of great activities for the kids like fishing, old school washboard laundry etc. The kids love to run around on the 60 acres of property and see all the animals and heritage homes ... experiencing... There was fresh fallen snow and snow in the air it was the perfect night. I received lots of great feedback from those that attended. This is the third time... More

Thank you for joining us for the Doon by Lantern Light Tours. Christmas is a very special time in the village. And yes, tickets to the museum's evening Christmas programs sell out very fast. In 2016, Starry Night tickets sold out in 24 hours, and Lantern Light Tours sold out in about three weeks. Tickets go on sale the morning... More

This is an amazing venue to visit and tour their exhibits. It is also great if you are looking for a venue to host a reception or charity event with its huge foyer, and if needed a small theatre for presentations. Lots of parking and space to hold your event.

Gary - thank you for your wonderful review and comments about the Waterloo Region Museum. When the museum was planned, the community said that they wanted a new museum to be a community centre - where people would gather for all kinds of events. So we're pleased to host weddings, corporate functions, book launches, conventions and much more! Regards, Tom... More
