I think its spectacular. Well groomed grounds, lots of room, great beach, boat launch, docking, food, ice cream you name it. Great staff as well!

We were wowed. The lot we had was odd shaped and took us a little leveling, but the park was worth it. The lake was amazing. Perfect temperature. A great dock for jumping off. Sandy bottom. It has a drop off so swimmers be aware. The other side of the dock is for boating. The store is well stocked, more of a convenience store. Lots of green space and lawn, beach was clean. Gorgeous pavilion almost finished. Friendly people all around. We loved it.

This is a great camping, fishing, swimming and basically anything outdoors-related spot. It's always busy with people doing all of the above at any point as soon as the weather warms up. Management and crew are awesome and it's a good community area.

In this little bay where the beach is in the park water is not the cleanest...
If you are camping it is OK but if you are planing to have a picnic you will have to come back some other time as the picnic area is fenced off for renovations.
Restricted access to all places if you have dog with you.
But there is so many geese and they poop so much that be careful where you step...
Sand on the beach was nicely raked every morning

This campground is located in a good area. The grounds are well maintained and kept clean. I have stayed here before and would stay again when in the area.

Pack a bag and have a great and relaxing day at the beach.
Great for a picnic, a swim, fun in the sand. There is a play structure. And near by a camping site.Lots of parking.

From Hwy 17 turn at the Walmart to find this excellent park. It is multi use, with a good sized campground, green space and beach.
Pass the RV campground office and continue downhill to the lower parking lot, which is closer to the beach. The beach is fairly small, but it is a really easy entry into the water, which is roped off to protect swimmers from the many boats on the lake.
