Camped here July long weekend. Camp sites for large trailers are very limited, the campground roads are small making it difficult to even pass on the road. The dock is wonderful, beach is great for small children. Water is clear. Very easy to kayak. Showers...More

Great campsites with great swimming areas. The Nook has a nice selection of water rentals. No Water was available at taps while we we there, no showers or flush toilets for our first few days. the last night we were there water was back on.

Rushing River Provincial Park is located about twenty minutes from Kenora and app. 2 1/2 hours from Winnipeg and is worth every travel minute! We first visited Rushing River about six years ago, and it has now become a family tradition and yearly camping destination....More

this is a great place, you can hike, bike, go to the beach, enjoy all kinds of water sports and Kenora is nearby for a visit, meal or just to get some supplies. Perfect to relax, with or without kids.

Great place to have nice walks close to the river. Amazing views of the rushing waters. Exploring the park is a nice thing to do. Rejuvenating experience. Nice hiking trails too.

Many good camping sites with flat ground, decent privacy, multiple tables and are near the lake (just check the online reservation system, as some sites are much better than others). I do find you have to book the good spots a month or two in...More

We really enjoyed our stop at Rushing River. It’s not a long drive from Kenora and worth the trip. The water is lower this year so it wasn’t as “rushing” as it has been in previous years but there is still lots to see and...More

When you arrive there is a self-serve parking permit machine. You can purchase hours in the park here. It was around $4 for 2 hours. We found parking and walked to the beach area. There was a washroom/shower facility as well as a changing house....More

Over the past many years we’ve gone, they’ve always seemed to accommodate. They have an online calendar showing available dates. I’ve usually gotten away with booking two months in advance. Hopefully this helps?
