We went mid week at 1 pm on a beautiful sunny day when it was just below freezing. Perfect temperature for an outdoor skate with my wife and two young boys. The trail is magnificent - it's a 1.3 km loop that definitely gives the legs a good burn if you decide to try skating hard the whole way around.... More

Beautiful scenic views as you skate along the outdoor trail. Parking is a bit of challenge. Fire pit and picnic tables to warm up and a enjoy a snack.

We went skating at Arrowhead with her two children ages 10 and 13 and had a fabulous time! The surface is thick and smooth and quite enjoyable. We will consider renting the cabins next time! We had a great skate ski after our skating adventure and love skiing around the lake!

It was freezing, but we bundled everyone up and headed to the park. We did 4 loops of the trail and what a great winter activity. Nice to have 2 fires going to warm up to after we were done skating. We will be back next year.

We took our young kids here today, during a stay at nearby Deerhurst Resort. We have long heard about the 1.3 km ice skating loop at Arrowhead, and were super excited to try it. Im hapoy to say that it does not disappoint! The loop is a perfect length - short enough to be manageable for young children but long... More

Six of us - all adults between 58 and 64 years old - planned this trip two months ago. We were watching the weather with some anxiety because we had an unseasonably warm February. Luckily for us, there was a deep freeze right before we arrived (we stayed at the Cedar Grove Lodge which is fantastic - see my review... More

Went for the winter skating. Lucky enough to hit the Fire and Ice night. Absolutely magestic. Should have more of these around Ontario. Great price for families. Went for 2 days and didn't mind paying $17 per carload. They have campfires to warm you up. The tubing hills was fantastic. A bit fast for young kids (3 and under) but... More

We came here while on a weekend trip to Huntsville. We had heard a lot about the Skating Trail and wanted to try it out. It did not disappoint. It is a very good value $17 per car. Things are very well signed and organized. The skating was a bit of a haul from where we parked but it was... More

We have been there for a few times. The most recent one was last September. The big bend at the park looks like the Horseshoe Bend in Arizona, not that grand though. The lake just outside the park was gorgeous as well.
