My husband and I booked a 4 day excursion to Muskoka Hidden Valley resort expecting to use their boats, beach, games room, hiking trails, dining room, and pool and to have a comfortable room as offered on their website. We found the beach and boats were closed, the games room was not free with the room, the restaurant offerings held little... More

This is where we learnt how to ski...and children enjoy the terrain park. They do have more challenging hills to try once you have escalated from beginner to intermediate. Great to spend a lovely morning/afternoon solo or with friends and family

Enjoyed an afternoon of boarding with my son and a friend. The pink granite rock cuts were uniquely Muskoka. The lake view from the hill tops were captivating. Indeed, short line-ups compensated for the shorter runs (about 1/3 it seemed) of Collingwood on average. At about 40$/day compared to about 60$/day at bigger hills. Food prices were about the same... I have come to Hidden Valley to ski on and off over the years (stay at HV resort across the street)- but more so when I was younger. Now that I have kids I brought them here to ski because I like that it is not crowded and that the hills are the right size for them. If you are... More

Decided to take our Brother to Huntsville skiing for the long weekend and we were not disappointed. What a great setting, on the edge of the lake the resort has varied terrain with some challenging slopes. The terrain park was well maintained with a variety of jump sizes... my son had to be dragged away. The lodge was spacious and the restaurant was not too expensive ... unlike some clubs.

Not all the slopes were open, I guess there wasn't enough snow. But the crowd still came and it was a lot of fun coming down the slope that was open.

This was the best party ever. Everything about the evening was wonderful, not one complaint. The food was fresh, tasty, large variety and Served hot. You could not ask for better management they bent over backwards to see that this party was a success. I can't say enough good things about our complete stay. The rooms were amazing as well.

It sounds like you had a great time! You've posted this to the ski hill's page (we are a separate business from the resort) but I'm sure the resort will want to hear what you have to say. You can post a review to their page here: http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g181752-d182035-Reviews-Hidden_Valley_Resort-Huntsville_Muskoka_District_Ontario.html. Cheers! A lovely area even in the Summer. Quite a hike up but a lovely area. Would be absolutely beautiful in the Fall, you can see forever!
