Kilometres of trails for all levels of hiking. Downtown Collingwood is welcoming with many unique shops and restaurants. Pianos are on the sidewalk in various locations where a person can sit down and play a tune.

We hiked the trail shortly after a heavy rainfall. The well-traveled trail presented a number of challenges such as slippery rocks and spots of mud. The views of Georgian Bay are stunning but be careful of the steep gorges... not the time for a selfie....More

I love rail trails with the lack of cars, width and nice foliage but I love changing scenery and waterfronts as well. Taking the rail trail to the Collingwood waterfront connected trails was a fabulous day trip for us. Bravo to the town and committees...More

The Georgian Trail in Scenic Collingwood Ontario is very lush foilage at the moment pherhaps a little overgrown. No bugs to notice yesterday but a lovely group of interesting birds and a squirrel. Love nature.

Lovely trail for a sunset walk. Lots of those tiny little bugs that don’t bite but drive you crazy. Well worth the walk for the sunset view and view of the harbour.

Nice path for bike riding. Rode with husband and 2 kids, ages 8 and 12, the 8 year old had no problem riding the distance as the path is very level and wide. Surface is tiny pebbles, my husband and kids have mountain bikes and...More

Collingwood has many walking trails but the Georgian Trail was one of my favourites. The trail goes on for kilometres. Most locations have helpful maps and the trails have very good signage. Enjoy the outdoors!

A former rail trail with the ability to ride from Stayner to Meaford. On top of that a plethora of side trails along the way if you want to go exploring. Whether you're running, riding or hiking you'll enjoy this great way to enjoy the...More
