the bottom’s covered with soft white sand, The water is clean, transparent….The conditions are optimal for rest with little ones, the whole family, with friends…Plenty of amenities make this beach easily accessible for everyone.. I saw many families with kids enjoying on the beach… There’re picnic tables, sand castles, swimming , water scooters etc…. the water was very cold but it’s an entirely new experience as they’re no waves to sweep you off your feet…as usual before entering any water body I try to learn about it’s depth , and this lake has a mean depth of 283 feet and its deepest point is 802 feet but I didn’t want to venture deep into it anyway to prove the veracity of this statement….I tried my hand at kite flying also, but couldn’t succeed

Beautiful beach with nearby parking although be careful of the cost of the waterside parking at $5 per hour or $40 for the day. Park a couple of streets away for much cheaper costs.

While my girlfriend and I were in Cobourg for a weekend we decided to check out the beach it was packed with families and kids playing volleyball. A nice beautiful little beach in Ontario.

Nice beach, but how can you rate it a top beach when the water is too cold to swim?! Even on hottest day water is freezing and green slime on shoreline, beaches on Simcoe & Georgian Bay far better for water temperature & quality and soft sand where you can walk out great distances and still be only waist deep

Beauiful clean, wide beach ! .. washrooms, splash pad, playground, picnic tables.. extremely clean !
Parking was alittle expensive $5 hr or $40 a day , coin- credit or by doenloadable app ( pay park parking lot McGill st/ Queen) right across street from beach 1 min walk
Also they have campsites there.
2 chip/hotdogs trucks
The beach is beauiful with great soft sand ! Most go!

Came here with family and walked along the side of the beach, in Victoria Park and beach. dipped our feet in water its a nice place for having an afternoon/evening stroll and/or picnic.
Nice place to visit as couples or with family.
Beach is well maintained, facilities are in good condition.

Definitely a beach to visit when nearby.

I’m picky about what I swim in… this beach was so clean! No stones, shells, or seaweed, just clean sand in the water as far as I could go. Great for children!

Be careful parking here. After driving around for 30 minutes I saw a lot with metered parking with spots available, paid my 20 parking fee and went to the function I was attending. I did not notice the incredibly large sign to the left side of the lot that said residents only. Got an $160 parking ticket to go with my $20.00 parking fee which is somewhat parasitic way to treat tourist who may not be familiar with the area. The other town attraction I am told is the old town jail that's now an hotel. Somewhat fitting as the town council who approved a fine like that is criminal.

The beach is beautiful. But the parking enforcement is terrible. Me, my wife and kids was there on Sunday during the Civic holiday long weekend. A few minutes right after we found a parking spot, juts before I came back with the paid parking ticket; there was a parking ticket on my car. I was so pissed. I called the town of Cobourg a few times, no one answered. Then I finally got a reply after I posted on Facebook. Then I emailed my concern to the Manager of City By-law of Cobourg. His attitude was very bad. He even accused me paid the parking after I received the parking ticket. Why would I risk getting a $160 fine for a $20 parking fee? That's insulting my IQ. And there is no clear instruction on where to submit the completed Trial option at the back of the ticket. Very terrible experience.
