Situated near the Cobourg Harbour it is a comparitively smallish beach. Our visit was during the end of May but it was still chilly & there was wafts of fog running in. The water too was near to the end of the beach, therefore there...More

I have lived in Courtice for most of my life. 3 years ago I moved to Calgary. I am back now, but while gone I longed to go to Cobourg Beach for the day! It takes the cake for the best beach in this area....More

Gorgeous sand beach beside the Cobourg Pier and Harbour. Very busy in the summer but restful and peaceful for the rest of the year. Great place to watch the birds and sail borders.

Stop here on the way through town. Good place to stretch the dog's legs...and yours. Lots of history on the main road through town close by. .

I great way to de-stress. We walked a dog. In the summer it's packed with people on the beach. Food concessions are open. There is a playground and bandshelland marina.

Neither too big nor too small, clean and well-groomed. Lots of activities, lovely boardwalk. Children's play areas adjacent, as well as a gorgeous park to relax or have a picnic. All within walking distance of stores and restaurants.

While this beautiful beach is at its best during the hot days of summer, it can provide a great experience even in the worst of weather. A recent trip there at the height of a spring storm, the rolling surf and breakers along the beachfront...More

Clean beach, clear water, and lots of space. Our fave beach by far, with a snack bar and splash pad/playground off the boardwalk.

Hey, Rachel. I see that you like the BC area of Canada and you would likely love Vancouver Island. It is amazing. The Tofino area is a go-to place for beach and surf lovers and that is all year round. It is on the Great... More
no dogs on the beach,no BBQs on the beach, paid parking close by, you can bring tents and any other sun proctors on the beach the water is warm this time of year and yes you can swim in it, there are picnic tables near by in the park but not many so get one as early asap. there is a nice takeout restaurant there and a nice ice cream parlor.

Same answer as others. No BBQ Allowed on beach. Tents and umbrellas OK. Yet nothing can be on beach that hampers the view of the lifeguards.
