We are sorry to hear that you find the park needs more upkeep. The Park is taken care of by Volunteers in the Community - they are the ones who do the weeding and planting there.

This little park was smaller than expected. It's small park in a crowded residential area. If you blink, you may miss it like I did at first. It's a great way to recognize the many firsts this site wads part of.
Went here by Walking Tour from the Black Mecca Museum. Cute little park. Enjoyed learning about the BME Park and peoples from the area.More
