Disappointed
Aug. 2020 • Family
Because of covid there were only a few things open. I have a 2.5 year old son and a 7 month old baby. I of the only things open was the paddle boats and we couldn't go on them because the child had to be able to sit on their own. Yes the tickets were half price but still not worth the money. You can't go on the train but they could atleast have it running with stuffed animals or something in it for the kids to see. We spent most of our day in the splah pad/beach. My son loved the splash pad. The swimming area at the beach is very small but the kids were having a great time. We hope to go back when all the rides are open I'm sure it would be a lot more fun.

Great Family Fun Day
Sep. 2019
6 adults 5 children ages 2, 5 and 7. We had a great day at Santas Village. Rides seemed clean and safe and were well attended by staff.Kids loved the play grounds, train ride and of course a visit with Santa. Food was a little pricey, but hot and tasty. We will be back!

Nice park to visit with the family
Aug. 2020
I went to Santa's village with my mom, step-dad and some friends on Tuesday August 18th. The park was very busy even though it was the middle of the week. Santa's village was a very clean park. It definitely felt like it was Christmas time with lots of festive decorations. I really enjoyed climbing the aerial park obstacle course. The playground was also fun and good for children of any age. The bad news was that most of the rides were closed due to COVID-19. I also went to Rudolph's sportland. I tried out the go-karts, mini-golf and the batting cages. I liked the go-karts the best because it felt like you were in a Nascar race. Overall it was a 7/10 park, I would recommend it for families with young children. Thank you for checking out Grading with Brayden. Au revoir.

Most of the rides are closed due to COVID, (which is reasonable), price is reduced to more than 50%, the best thing is the boat ride on the river (yet I didnt see the staff sanitizing the hand bars on the seats after the ride). There is fair amount of sanitizer at each booth, washrooms are clean. Staff wore masks and sanitized everything after use at small catamaran rides on the pond and at the arcade. The restaurant at the premises was ok but not huge in variety of meals. Kettle chips instead of fries. Not a bad place to visit with kids. One time visit for us, doubt it if we will be back.

Santa's Village Junkie
Aug. 2019
Yes, I'm a Santa's Village junkie. Been a visitor since the 1960s, and have many cherished memories of the place. At this stage of life, I'm delighted that I can take my great nieces and nephews to the Village to enjoy the day in the fresh air, beside the sparkling Muskoka River, under the smell of those glorious pines. It's magical fun for younger children, still older children and adults can't help but get caught up in it all. It's not a huge park, rather just the right size to enjoy with youngsters so they don't get too overwhelmed or exhausted. Lots of updates have taken place over the years, but thankfully the charm and character of the original village remains intact. Whisper Pines across the road is a clean, pretty campground. I'm disappointed that COVID-9 will keep us from visiting this year, but when all is well next year, we will be back for another adventure at Santa's summer home.

Shady Village
Jul. 2020
I can't give it a 0 or I would, my wife reserved a cottage yesterday under the assumption that they go quickly as stated by the woman on the phone. Who also incidentally knew nothing about the cancellation fee did not make my wife aware and when asked if she could cancel tomorrow if it didn't work she said no problem. I could not get the time off work as I'm in Long Term Care and currently it's crazy being in the middle of this crisis. So before we even got the confirmation she called to cancel and they are charging us a 50.00 fee. We were staying 2 weekday nights and the total bill was 550, a rip off already!! I visited this park when I was a kid and was looking forward to my kids experiencing it as well. The park isn't even open!! What terrible experience! And although there is a campsite cancellation policy good luck finding it. It's not under there terms and conditions you have to search it separately! Shady Village!! I hope other scorned potential patrons think twice about wasting their hard earned cash here!

Season Pass
Jul. 2019
Living in the Muskoka area my grandchildren love Santas Village. Buying a season pass is the best if you plan on going more than 2 times a year. It has something for everyone and very friendly place. Even myself as a Grandmother go on the coasters with my grandsons and they love it. If you live north of Barrie it is 1 hr. away so a great family fun day. My husband bought me a season pass for this year 2020.

Kids need more places like this
Aug. 2019
This was a hoot for my two daughters. Its also a locally owned and run business, with lots of teenagers employed there. Not really that expensive given other alternatives. Zip line, feeding the animals and the water park were great. Will go again!

A lot of fun for the whole family. We also did the zip line right next to the park. Well worth the drive.
