I would not recommend this place to anyone, I highly recommend not going. We booked 3 nights online with our Visa stayed only 1 as it was so disgusting , nothing like what the website says and nothing even close to the pictures. I have requested my phone calls get returned several times and no one is returning my calls. Way overpriced for starters. There isnt even a garbage bin, the garbage is just placed on the ground at the entrance. Most disgusting campground I have ever been to. I do not have pictures to show as none were taken, we couldn't get out fast enough

I “discovered” this place in 1997, when at midnight I stopped there while driving from Cochrane to Toronto.
The bridge was not there yet and that place appeared to be really magical! Since then it has been my ‘compulsory’ rest stop each time I have driven south on highway 11. Some 10 years ago we even spent a few days staying in a resort just down the High Falls and explored several other scenic falls, albeit much smaller.
There are several picnic tables, but in the summer it would be much nicer to sit around the falls or in the forest.

Not crowded, nice trails of varying difficulty levels. We scrambled a bit to get to more exciting locations, and also to explore a smaller tributary leading to the main river. Geocaching and an Adventure Lab checkpoint brought us here. We've come to Bracebridge, off and on, for the last 40 years, and never once stopped here. I'm glad we did today.

Very difficult to find. We turned around twice. Our GPS could not locate it and kept on bringing us to the waterpark and camping (which looked awesome).
In the end, we found it by luck because I saw them from the road. Not escalation, except a few rock to descend.
Beautiful and easy access.

Absolutely beautiful falls. The walk /hike down was just as picturesque. We also checked out Little High Falls on our way out which were also beautiful. Def worth visiting

The place is located in Muskoka, 2 hours drive from Toronto. We took the 401 highway connecting to ON-11. There are small hikes in the park that you can explore. We went to the falls directly. Carry your hiking shoes or shoes with good grip. The walk to the waters is not easy. There is ample amount of parking space. We couldn’t find any place to eat nearby so I would suggest to pack something and go. It’s a really beautiful place to go and have a day trip with your family and friends. We saw people having picnic with their family. It feels really good to sit by the water and enjoy the sun light. There is kayaking too if you want to try, also we saw people went for swim. I would definitely recommend this place and worth visiting.

We had taken our children here for a day (the clothed side!!) not aware of the other side which I wonder if you could see from this viewpoint. Not sure but it was a beautiful spot to enjoy the fall colours!!

Nice trails to walk although there is no signage anywhere. It is a bit hard to find but worth the trip as the falls are very pretty.

Can a stroller fit on the trail? Or should I bring him in the back pack lol

The trail is wide and well maintained so a stroller should be okay. It does go over the dam as well.
Is this trail open in the summer? Is free parking available?

I'm travelling past High Falls this coming weekend and we will have our small dog with us. Just wondering if we can access the park and falls with our dog?

I assume the park is open now for the summer and you should easily be able to walk in... either from the park or the Trans Canada trail. Because it was early spring when we visited the gates were locked. I don't know why some other visitors said they could not view the falls. There is a pedestrian bridge riht over it!
