This museum is filled with local history of the Sweeney family. My favorite was the scaled down fishing boat, easy to explore and get a feeling of what it must be like. It would have been really nice if this museum offered guided tours to explain both how the Sweeney family was involved with the fishery and rum running.…

Relics from a fisheries, even scaled smaller original buildings! Lots of photos, an actual 1/3 scale ship. Preserved with love for an industry history, not your typical museum at all.
