What a WONDERFUL walking tour! My husband Al and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company. We learned so much and had a great time. Carole’s knowledge of the area and the delicious food made the experience one of the highlights of our vacation. We sampled large portions of local fare in 6 different establishments as we walked around the Yarmouth area- each food better than the next. Carole, the tour guide, explained everything and had us laughing and talking for hours. Don’t miss this one if you’re in the Yarmouth Nova Scotia area! Kris Huchthausen

What an amazing experience! I have lived in Yarmouth for almost 21 years and I learned so much about our beautiful community today, thank you to Carol (our tour guide) for making today such a memorable one. From start to end the food was great! I would recommend this to locals and tourists.

We were very pleasantly surprised. We thoroughly enjoyed our guide Carol. The food was amazing and plenty of it and gave us a taste of Nova Scotia that we could not have planned as well. It all started in the Grand Hotel. We ate wonderful local cuisine, delightfully prepared and in a quantity that was more than adequate for a taste. The next four restaurants that we walked to, were as delightful and filling as the first. Each place presented a specialty of their restaurant (one was an art gallery) that treated our palettes to a maze of flavours. The last of the five restaurants was as wonderful as the first. We even ate at a "social restaurant" where the cuisine was Cuban and East Indian. The wait staff were assisted living and our visit there was wonderful. Why would a Nova Scotia restaurant serve Cuban and East Indian food you might ask? I'm sure it's a challengel however, the restaurant was full and expanding and the locals find the restaurant a welcome break from the traditional foods; so did we. Primarily seafood, our Foody Tour was a perfect blend of drink and food. Amazing is the best way to describe it. It cost $55 per person and I have to say that I certainly got my money's worth (actually I don't know how they can do the tour so inexpensively). We leisurely strolled between restaurants and our guide during our walk was a great historian and a true ambassador for Yarmouth and Nova Scotia. WELL DONE!!!! and Thank you.

While visiting Yarmouth, a fellow traveler recommended we attend the Yarmouth Foodie Walking Tour, instructing us to not eat breakfast - boy, was he right. The servings were small meals rather than the normal tidbit tastings. And given restaurant pricing, 6 stops are a true steal - especially since most of them had won the "2016 Best Of" contest for various categories. Carole, owner and tour operator is a native of the area and provides a delightful overview of the town, introducing you to charming local business owners, and providing historical & cultural justification for why you're eating what you're eating. I highly recommend this experience! Put on your favorite walking shoes, bring a jacket as it's breezy there, and wear really comfortable pants as you enjoy every bite!
