Unique scenic road out to the lighthouse with walls in some places presumably to protect the road and traffic from high waves in storms. Free. Museum and café. Great views and very worthwhile interpretive walk along the water.

Well worth the ride out to the lighthouse. Nice walking trail and the person there was quite interesting to listen to. Don’t forget to hear the fog horn when you flip the switch. Also a great little cafe with great chowder.

We did not have enough time to park and walk around to see it well. We had a boxed lunch so sat where we could enjoy the view and ate our lunch. The weather was perfect with the blue sky setting off the tall lighthouse.

I should add...in the maritimes, most beaches look beautiful, but can be quite deadly...heed the warnings from the locals...We don't tell you stories just for entertainment, we want to keep our visitors safe
