The Marigold Cultural Centre is a not-for-profit 206 seat theatre located in downtown Truro. We host a plethora of live performances including full bands, solo musicians, comedians, musicals, drama, comedy, and dance. I went to the Marigold Centre to see a friend's art exhibit and was most surprised how quaint the centre was. The room where the exhibit was located was small but extremely well lit and the walls were painted a very bright white. The art work looked great. They had scatterings of art and comfy old chairs all over the... More

I have attended quite a few events here and enjoyed them all. They have everything from plays, musicals bands and comedy. The staff are attentive and friendly. The acoustics are quite good -----and I have a hearing problem but hear very comfortably here.

The Marigold Cultural Centre plays host to some of the best local talent the Maritimes has to offer. I saw an amazing SLOAN concert, watched a local theatre group put on a Broadway worthy production, children's shows and even dancing showcases...they do it all. The theatre itself holds around 200 people which makes it very comfortable. There is not a... More

I saw the New Year's Eve show with Mike Robinson and Mark Walker. The show was fantastic ... Welcoming it the new year with a great laugh was the best way to spend New Year's Eve. My only complaint was that the audience's excessive use of cell phones during the show was distracting. I mentioned it to the marigold staff... More

The Marigold is probably one of my favourite entertainment centers in the maritimes. They showcase world class entertainment at a fraction of the cost to see them anywhere else. A committed staff and management make the Marigold the very best place to spend time. We must all remember to support this treasure or it's gone! We are so fortunate to... More
