Extremely efficient and interesting. Even though we travel during the daylight hours we booked a cabin and were glad we did when the seas got rough. Food was well above average and service great.

I live in NL so maybe that puts a different perspective on using the ferry than for tourists. And I’ve been using the ferrys to travel to the mainland for almost 35 years now. And to some extent the service has gotten better. At least...More

What could be the beginning of a great Newfoundland experience for visitors has been reduced to the equivalent of another truck stop. The staff on the vessel are as friendly as you can find anywhere. What is missing is a lack of management and attention...More

I have taken Marine Atlantic ferries for over 40 years but this was the first year we sprung for the deluxe cabin. What a different crossing! We had a room much like a hotel room, coffee in suite, king size bed, tv, telephone and the...More

My husband, mother and I went on our first ferry ever. It was a delightful trip to Port six Basques as well as back to Sydney. We just used the regular chairs as we already paid 250$ each way for the three of us plus...More

A major storm came through the Cabot straight the evening we were due to travel between Sydney and Port aux Basques so the preceding sailing and the one we were booked on were both cancelled. However, Marine Atlantic handled the situation with aplomb with frequent...More

Took the ferry "Atlantic Vision" from North Sydney to Argentia both over and back. The trip was very smooth. I had a 4-berth cabin on the way over and a 2-berth on the way back both of which were very clean and comfortable. Although the...More

Corvettes go on the ferry. Cars and truck of all kinds. You may want to remeasure the length of the car. I’ve never seen a Chevy corvette that 7’ size.

Can't recall the names - it was two different sailings - one night and one day sailing - both on the North Sydney / Port aux Basque route.
