Amazing skiing along with the beautiful Lodge, amazing food, and Outstanding service from the professional, attentive, and friendly staff!!!
Expert ski guiding from Gavin and Chris, Arielle attending the bar, Lacey for morning stretch class and giving wonderful massage therapy, along with Blake and Tiffany providing delicious and healthy meals, made our stay extra special!!

4 of us took the trip we'd been dreaming about for many years, and NEH delivered even though nature didn't bless us with Warren Miller like conditions. However, the guides found untracked nice snow all four days, and we had a blast. We couldn't fly one day due to conditions, so the lodge organized an outing to Terrace where we could all try our hand at 5 pin bowling, the dutch guests walked away with the trophy they made to commemorate the event. And even with only skiing 4 out 5 days everyone was able to reach their maximum vertical or exceed it. Very impressive.
The lodge is great, whether you need some time to relax on your own or socialize with your friends and fellow guests it's all there and available. The food was beyond expectation and dinner was always a good time.
Great place to ski, amazing terrain, great place to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
thanks again to Lewis, Erica, Andy, Danae and the rest of the staff for hosting us and making us feel right at home.

5 of us did the Elite Heli Skiing package and it was great. Every single person involved did everything they could to make our experience fantastic. From the helicopter pilots Zach and Jordan, to the daily gourmet meals prepared by Blake and Dylan. Our guide, Gavin was super - he adeptly handled the range of our group's abilities and I felt 100% comfortable with his decisions as to where/when to ski. The other group's guide, Ben, gave us a great avalanche training course on the one day we couldn't ski due to the weather. The daily yoga led by Lacey was a perfect way to start, and the other staff at the lodge, Ariele and Michael were always looking out to make our stay better.
There is endless skiing and varied slopes/mountains. This is the perfect way to have a heli-ski experience. I couldn't recommend Northern Escape more highly.

Commercial flights into Terrace with a twenty minute drive to the Yellow Cedar Lodge. Easy. As you arrive you notice that the helicopter is next to the lodge.
The first stop is the cozy bar/game room for a Champagne welcome followed by a tour of the work out/morning stretch class room, dining room, common room and finally your well appointed room.
Get settled and relax before dinner. The food is amazing.
Next morning, lodge accommodates 18 guests, three groups of six in the helicopter. You go through avalanche training and then you are off to unlimited untracked powder. The guides are pros and have as much fun as their guests. The skiing/boarding is amazing.
And the staff are even more amazing.

Great overall experience. Despite no new snow for 7d prior to my arrival, there was excellent powder to be found and corn on southern aspects. Guides were nice, food exceptional (chef Kyle 5*). Go for the small group a.k.a. elite package. ToDo: Build a sauna! Will return.

NEH has great terrain. Elliot and April were the best guides, and Adrian and Emily really made the lodge and dining experience. Some of the people in our group had been on 8 heli trips, and this experience completely eclipsed them all. Because of great guides, a fast-riding group, amazing terrain and great weather we were able to get 139K vertical in 4 days.

Amazing experience. Fantastic snow and terrain. Excellent guiding by Lewis, head guide, and Chris. We stayed at Mountain lodge, which was nice. Staff are very attentive and provide high service and attention to evry detail. A special thanks to Ariel and Sebastian the chef.
