Lots of historic trains to see and you can actually get on most of them too. Great photo opportunities. The little train ride is worth a visit the only thing lacking is somewhere to eat.

We really enjoyed this visit. Being able to climb aboard the engines/carriages etc was brilliant. Well worth a visit.

Train engines and carriages to see plus some buildings. Ride in miniature railway is through shady gardens. Exhibits show high level of effort from volunteers and donors.

Plenty to see of the replicated old turn of the century town. Lots of railway artefacts and vintage locomotives. Children's activities. Lots of historical interest.

Yes, Polar Express is certainly a round trip - with lots of the original movie characters to entertain (wait till you meet the conductor as he punches your golden ticket !!!), enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and sing songs... More
